      It’s so awesome to hear feedback from people like you and it’s great to also have someone notice the fact that I try my best to respond to every single comment I get on the channel. I feel like that’s one thing that separates me from other channels. My ego could NEVER be inflated enough to simply not engage with viewers/commenters/subscribers. Plus, I’ve gotten to know a lot of great people on a pretty personal basis because of this channel, which I’m so thankful for.

      What trips me out is that cool dudes carried this Block II set-up BUT with the addition of an AN/PSQ-18 for the M203, vertical grip on the M203 itself, a Docter or Insight red dot on top of the Elcan, and then either a Surefire RC or KAC NT4 suppressor on the end. Unreal.

      @@Flammin1000 Been wanting to do a video of shooting the chalk rounds and further distances (200yds to at least 550yds, if not further) just to kinda showcase the potential and accuracy of the M203 itself as well as the training chalk rounds that are paired with it.

      @@Flammin1000 Yep. To the surprise of many (including myself), the standard USGI leaf sight from LMT is pretty damn good at getting the rounds where you want them to go.

      MythicUSA Not my rifle but I’d love to have a GL/SSC. Buffer is H5 and I was using cheap underpowered steel case, hence it short stroking in the footage.

    Can you make a video attaching the m203. I am curious how it mounts with the RIS II?I was always under the impression they could just mount to the bottom rail section

      @@amule323 Yeah, the bottom rail drops out via four flat head screws. You MIGHT be able to use the rim of a 5.56 casing to undo it, but I’ve never tried that method. I believe Black_Rifle on RUclips might have a video showing how to do it if I remember correctly, but I could be wrong.

      While 1913 rail is an option, few militaries use M203s that attach that way because it absolutely beats the hell out of the rail, because the rail wasn't designed with quite that amount of force in mind. I think New Zealand does it. There's theoretical ways to make 1913 rails that handle the abuse, like adding a recoil lug, but I don't think anybody actually does that.

      Hey duder, not sure what you mean about the ACOG? If you’re referring to the optic on this rifle, it’s an Elcan SpecterDR 1x/4x. And I can probably do that for you, no problem!

    Is it hard to aim the M203 without a leaf sight? I have one I want to mount behind a PEQ for an upcoming build and just wondering if it’s feasible.

      @@JoshuaLRichardson-f2b you can kinda get the feel for it after lobbing a few chalk rounds at distance. There are leaf sides that can mount to the side of the rail instead of 12 o’clock, too, so might be something worth considering if you’re limited on rail space because of a PEQ-15, pressure pads, etc.

      Kinda. The plastic portion that holds all the chalk broke somehow. Could’ve been damaged before it was even brought to the range or wasn’t assembled properly. Hard to say.

      Yes, the 40mm launcher you have to get a Destructive Device tax stamp for to legally possess. Same with preassembled chalk rounds (the ones in this video are self assembled).

      There is however a 37mm “flair launcher” made by lmt as well, does not require a tax stamp as it is a non-firearm

      Some of the rounds used were .22lr hornets nest, so it’s impossible to see where they hit at the distance we were at. When using the chalk rounds, they were going anywhere from 200yds to 600yds and the orange splash can be seen in a couple of clips if you look close enough.

    HoW much Does a 40 mm M203 Usually cost ,is it available in the civilian Market for military ammunition ? .

      About $1,800-$2,300 for an LMT M203 depending on what model and where you get it. You can get the launcher as as a civilian, but I don’t think you can get HEDP rounds unless you have the proper FFE licensing and what not. Could be wrong about that, best bet is to Google that just to be sure. Thanks for watching.

      Aditya Das Yes, there are four flat head screws that need to be unscrewed to remove a portion of the bottom rail on the RIS II to mount the M203.

      Aditya Das Not with the M203 configuration in this video you can’t because it’s in the barrel mounted configuration. You may be thinking of the GL/SSC RIS II which is the shortest RIS II that has the mounting tabs. GL/SSC RIS II and M203 also requires a 12.5” barrel.

      On this rifle (which isn’t mine), it’s an Elcan SpecterDR 1x/4x. On my rifles I currently run these optics, EoTech SU-231 (aka 553) and SU-231A (aka EXPS3-0), Aimpoint Comp M4S, and Vortex Razor HD Gen. II E 1-6x24 with the JM1 BDC reticle.

      @@1991LAPD 14.5” but the muzzle device is pinned and welded to bring it past 16”. M203 wait is about 9 months for the Destructive Device tax stamp. Sometimes quicker, sometimes longer.
