    Thanks for sharing...can you do a video on mental health mos? Im sure you'd have to ask your fellow soldiers if he/she would be interested in doing a Q & A. I hope that is possible 🤗

    Hi Veronica! I was wondering if you could do a leadership video? I remember you saying that you didn’t prefer enlisted because you know you were called to lead. So I was just hoping you could do one on tips you would give to people on how to lead? (I think it could be helpful for potential officers or even others in leadership positions)

    Can you make a video about your transition from college to the airforce and the whole process to get into the officer training school? I am currently in that situation and there is not much information on the careers you can choose from as an officer or it's just confusing and overwhelming. Also what you did for the board choosing etc I love your videos its helped me so much! I am planning to start talking to a recruiter in May after a graduate :)

    I’m joining the navy as an officer (Surface warfare) and I never heard about the 16 foot plunge but it makes sense since you are on the ship lol I’m taking swim lessons for that reason. I am an Air Force brat too but navy is my heart due to being in the NJROTC!

      So do you think it would hinder you if you don’t take the plunge ??

    • @dazeofnostalgia
      @dazeofnostalgia 4 года назад +1

      Duke. I don’t think so but like I said I never heard of that 16 foot plunge before. I do know that you have to jump from 10ft for the swim test but everyone has to do it so even enlisted. I feel like the swim portion is the make it or break it from people deciding which branch they want to join! Swim isn’t a big deal to me especially if you know how to swim or take swim lessons before!

      Hi i thought a career span for retirement is 20years.. Any idea how your das stayed that long

    • @hiyarach
      @hiyarach 3 года назад +1

      @@mrdeecroft3114 You can stay in for longer than 20 years. 20 years just means that you can leave retired and get life long benefits such as 50% of your salary for life. It is possible to stay in until you are about 60 but of course it’s all up to how much you like your career and how efficient you are doing it.

    My army recruiter told me they were the only branch who lets their ppl pick their MOS & i wouldn’t be able to do that in the Air Force Bc i told him i had family in the AF & Navy & was considering Air Force more. My army recruiter was so unprofessional. He was always contradicting himself, cussing in every sentence, told me he’d help me cheat on the asvab & that I’m just basically a potential bonus for him. This helped me a lot!

    Hey Veronica, I'm really interested in the Air Force but the process of becoming an Officer (according to my recruiter) seems very far of a reach for a civilian due to the high competition. I'm 27 with a Masters degree and was considering going in as enlisted. My recruiter said after a year I can send in my packet. I hear there are many individuals with degrees that choose this route. What are your thoughts?

  • @mommafitbit3701

    Great video. How often or do you move /deploy in the air force, or are you saying you won't move b/c of your job as a MSC? So you don't have to do things do like requalify to be an Airforce officer- ie PT, weapons, flight skills, etc? Is the GRE requirement for getting a MPH or MHA degree, so you can advance past captain?
