Some are proud to wear their enlisted Specialty Badge. The officers who wore them were respected a bit more than those trying to hide their enlisted heritage.
Many of these officers are commissioned medical professionals. Wonder why they have to go through the entire OTS experience. 2-3 weeks for familiarization and orientation should be enough.
As a commissioned medical profession, OTS is to be a full fledged officer of the us Air Force. We have standards, if you don't like it then go join a hospital. Not the military.
Officers must be instructed to lead like Major Dick Winters. If you cannot lead from the front and be the officer your troops will follow into battle you have no business in the military. The Air Force has become softer and less disciplined. Fix it.
Modern Air Force is intellectual military service, rather than being on the battlefield with rifle. Air Force officers have other battlefields and weapons.
I'm sorry, that "crap" is to teach them how to be a full fledged officer of the us Air Force. We have standards, if you don't like it then go join a hospital. Not the military.
@@MRGUITARONFIRE You think OTS shows them how to be a full fledged officer your nuts. I think the Academy and ROTC officers would also get a good chuckle out of your comment.
@@sicsempertyrannis3251 OTS shows them the standards we have in the Air Force. The academy and ROTC might have more time to train but regardless there is a standard. To call it crap is disrespectful.
