Aside from Frankie's greatness, let's give credit to the Teenagers. Sherman's bass has got to be the best doo wop bass ever. And the smoothness of Jimmy, Joe, and Herman is superb.

what a great group....what sincere singing....this guy had so many things going with his voice, and 13 ! ! ! ! his voice can be piercingin a wonderful way, it can be soft, so many little nuances in his singing.......what a genius....and the genius harmony's from the other 4 amazing singers, but the best is how they all came together in these songs and had that magical wonderfullness that doesn't happen very often...............thank you truthfinder.........

@@toniventura7010 Hello. Thanks very much. I'll look for that.
      Astonishing voice he had.
The magnificent backing vocals of those days, too, were romantic, humourous, companionable; they were sung-conversations, shared with the listner, and never receive the credit they deserve.
It's such a great, great shame, tragedy really, that like theatre performances, musical shows such as Alan Freeds weren't filmed.
I'm looking forward to watching what you've recommended.
      God bless, from UK.

In this version, I can finally here all the words. Now I can remember them when listening to the released version I prefer: if they're the same.
How I adore, adore being in the studios for the few seconds before a recording begins.
All the unknown, faceless names in the control rooms, and, when they're speaking, they are the final few seconds the recordings we know today didn't exist; one mistake in the recording booth, or some interuption from outside, and that last chance to record may have been lost.
I think I here some unknown voice say, ''Take 6''.
