We watched all 6 Star Wars movie on the channel! You can check out our reaction on our Star Wars playlist
the first 3 movies (4,5, and 6) were made in 1977 and used toys to make a lot of the scenes we would use CGI for today which makes it even cooler! And cause Star Wars toys to sell like crazy!
I don’t want to spoil anything enjoy watching Star Wars
I mean.. you already spoiled the movies for yourselves... Is there much point?
"who tf is this green goblin, man"😂 funniest description of Master Yoda that i've ever heard
the lightsaber is a kind of laser sword. Normal lasers, they can pass right through eachother. So, this is a type of laser that is, what is called, impermeable (kind of)......it is, in a manner of thinking, a SOLID laser beam that is a couple feet long.......and as for what happened to Obi-won Kenobi......he didn't give up.......he quickly put himself into a state of meditation to be able to become a force ghost........Darth Vader was confused, because a light saber is NOT suppose to blink a person out of existence like that......that is why he was stepping his foot on the robs, as if to say "what the fuck just happened here?????"
Fun fact about the last Obi-wan vs Anakin fight: their full speed was not sped up or edited to make them seem faster. the two actors trained and worked to make that fight epic.
I’ve heard that a little bit of the Obi-Wan Darth Maul fight after Qui Gon died actually had to be slowed down a bit. I could be wrong about that though.
@@cooperhurst2639 you’re right. Nice pfp btw
Cool

The thing I respect the most about this video is the "I don't want spoilers" line, because that means what he's seen so far has hooked him enough that he's going to now watch the movies, which is always welcome.
Dang i was wondering why he was saying that. It was irritating at first but now not at all bc i understand why hes saying it and we always welcome new fans 😂💯💪🏼
Whole video is spoilers though😅
@@infinitegoRight?!?!? As soon as he mentioned getting spoiled I was like this is filled with so many spoilers 😂.
"It's like they are fighting in Hell or something."
I believe that is very much the effect George Lucas was going for. (In essence, an Angel - Anikin, being "cast down" & becoming the Devil - Vader)
Well technically Palpatine was the Devil.
@@RebelGaming4U Palpatine was always a sith though? They probably meant that Anakin symbolises Lucifer, the former angel who fell from grace and became the devil
@@gore0802 true but the devil tempts and palpatine tempted anakin, didnt he?
@@Clinically_Insanee i guess they're both the devil💀💀
@@Clinically_Insaneedemons and evil people still tempt, temptation isn’t exclusive to the devil.
@12:20, the actor playing the old dude is the late great Sir Christopher Lee.
Prior to acting he was a fencing champion and a member of the Royal Air Force. He is also descended from Italian nobility.
And is the real life inspiration for James Bond.
@@davidring681 Not sure about that. But if true I wouldn’t be surprised
Edit: just Googled. Dayuum I didn’t know Lee and Ian Fleming were step cousins. 🤯🤯
@@technopirate304 There's a lot of made up bullshit about celebs out there, but most of the crazy stuff about Christopher Lee you hear is true. Like when Peter Jackson tried to tell him how to act when Saruman gets stabbed in LOTR, and the badass Sir Lee just goes, "I know what someone sounds like when they are stabbed, Peter."
@@technopirate304 fun fact number two. When acting in lord of the rings the two towers he was directed to scream out when his character was stabbed in the back. He refused and asked the director Peter Jackson if he had ever heard the sound a man makes when stabbed in the back because he did.
@@davidring681 I heard that one before. Sir Lee was a G.
Fun fact: the guy who taught the actors how to duel with the lightsabers, also taught the cast of the Lord of the Rings how to fight with swords.
Nick Gillard, and I didn't know he taught the lotr cast. But now that i think of it he is from New Zealand and that's where they filmed lotr. Awesome. 2 of my favorite franchises.
Absolute legend. I’m glad they made him a character with Cin Drallig
@@RebelGaming4Uno nick gillard only did stunts for the prequel trilogy although he was one of the German tank drivers in Indiana Jones the last crusade. The person who did the choreography for the original trilogy especially empire strikes back and return of the Jedi was former Olympic fencer bob anderson who also worked on the first three pirates of the Caribbean movies, the mask of Zorro and the princess bride. As well as lord of the rings
Nick Gillard the 🐐
no wonder both of the franchises are outstanding.
To summarize what the colors mean. Green is typically a jedi who prefers diplomacy before violence. Blue is for jedi who typically think of using their saber to make peace. Purple usually means they dabble in the dark side or have a good balance of both sides of the force. And finally red means they bled their kyber crystal wich is the power source of the saber and is a practice that sith use to make it red. And there's a few one off colors like white is a mended kyber crystal and yellow is neutral typically. (edit: to all who commented i did say it was a summarization didn't i? lmao but i did learn some new stuff about the franchise i love so i appreciate you teaching me some new star wars knowledge and btw embrace the empire...)
Thank you. Don’t know why but I’ve always wondered about this and now that I know I find it more interesting than I already thought it would be.
@@The_Modern_Nomads hell yeah man there's more off shoot color meanings but they're like slight variations but i love to deep dive in the lore and legends the comics are so rich with colors and actually explaining what they mean and the stories in general are hella good. It'd be worth a look the comics in my opinion
I think there are natural red crystals but they're rare to find which is why there are synthetic crystals or like you said if a Sith bleeds a crystal.
Or more that Samuel L Jackson has the street cred to demand the only way he will be in a Star Wars movie is if they give him a purple light saber.
So then they write in a detail about him balancing the light and dark side.
I don't know if any of that is cannon anymore.
I’d have watched the entire movies to understand the duels. It’s not all lasers and cool stuff I believe it has substance.
It's most likely Plasma
As a huge SW fan, you are correct
@@CDRhammond okay?
Well ya, this is literally just the fights.
Yeah it has substance for sure
“Who tf is this green goblin man” had me dying lmao 😂
The first fight between Luke and Vader was a vison warning Luke of two things. The first if he was not careful, he would follow in Vader's footsteps and the second was he was nowhere near ready to face Vader in a lightsaber dual and if he tried, he would lose (which he did). That is why when the helmet cracked it was his own face staring back at him.
And also his face appearing could of been hinting at the fact that Him and Vader are more alike then he realizes (father and son).
@@canadianrage5224 That too though in the book that is what is said to have caused Luke to fail in the cave

Loved the reaction 😂 from a die hard starwars fan, to see people in amazement of what I’ve found amazement in for over 2 decades is awesome. And I loved how you didn’t want to spoiled because the story runs SO deep. You guys have to watch the movies
"You were my brother Anakin. I loved you." always brings a tear to my eye.
The Obi Wan series wasnt great but when Vader said: “Im not your failure, Obi Wan. You didn’t kill Anakin Skywalker… I did.” That shit hit hard
@22:30, the young guy at the end with the amputated limbs is Darth Vader. You just watched how he became the dude in the black suit.
In the Kenobi series they have another duel that takes place a decade before Episode IV.
i think Kenobi took place 5 yrs after ep 3 so that would make about 25 yrs before ep 4
@@yukonr It was ten years after Episode 3. Both Luke and Leia were ten years old.
@@technopirate304 ah right i wasn't thinking about Leia being in Kenobi, IMO the age of Obi won is a plot hole, in ep 4 he's like in his 70's and we don't really know how old he was in ep 1-3, anikin was 10 in ep 1 but how old was he in ep 3
@@yukonr Anakin I believe was 22 or 23 in Episode 3

The colors are pretty simple to explain:
Green is for the good guys who's characters are talkers before they are warriors
Blue are for good guys who fight to protect the good before trying to talk it out
Red are the villains
Purple is Samuel L. Jackson, because he wanted a purple lightsaber
Y’all definitely gotta watch clone wars fights, they’re pretty good especially later ones 🔥

@@jokybones The Clone Wars Season 3-7 Lightsaber Fights are the best of the Clone Wars.
@@canmacit6638 Thank you need to look into that
This is just what I’ve heard over the years and gathered
Green- wise, strong connection to the force
Blue- good fighting and dueling skills
Yellow- Guard
Purple- primary user of the light side but can control their dark side and use it against dark side users
Red- torturing their kyber crystals to make it “bleed”.
White- grey Jedi. Doesn’t use either light or dark side beliefs but instead follows their own way of the force. Can also happen when healing a previously bleeding crystal. So if a Jedi killed a sith and healed the crystal it would go from red to white.
I love more the Synthetic crystal from the Sith is more entuned to they're philosophy as an insult to the Jedi, but thinking in cold, if they decide to reconcile both legend and Disney continuity, the Synthetic is more powerful but it destroy itself after a time and it's only used to prove themself in a Fight against Jedi Knights or Jedi Masters and it's after that fight they corrupt the Crystal to created the red Natural crystal, one would last for ever
I'm pretty sure white is just if you've healed a bleeding Chrystal
The music was written and composed by John Williams for all the Star Wars films. He has the most recognizable music in all films, he also did Superman, Indiana Jones, and Jaws, just to name a few.
And for the first two Harry Potter movies
"Yo I thought these guys were homies whats going on?" made me laugh way to hard😂😂😂
You should also watch all of the Clone Wars and Rebels show battles. There are some amazing ones among them.
Clone Wars and Rebels is so underrated and they are both legendary
They just did
My favourite Clone Wars Arc is Umbara and Season 7.
What I remember about the rise of the empire was how quiet it was. During the waining hours of the clone wars, the 501. legion was discretely transfered back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all what was about to happen, what we were about to do? Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when ORDER 66 came down and not when we MARCHED into the JEDI TEMPLE. Not a word.
Operation Knightfall, 501. Journal
@@DarthVader-rd5qh Wouldn't call Clone Wars "underrated" but Rebels definitely is though.
A lot of the fights in the early seasons are super choppy and robotic almost, but they definitely improve over time and offer some of the coolest fights in Star Wars
18:07 “Something happened to this guy…I think he turned evil.” Yeah you could say that 😂😂 great video
Light Saber battles were like a war of attrition. What you don't see is the use of the force. They created shields around themselves, used it to enhance their perception and even slow time a bit. It was about using certain styles to counter others and wearing down your opponents until they dropped their guard and made a mistake. If you read the books it describes it very well
Thats more like soresu than all lightsaber fights
The prequel films were choreographed by Nick Gillard. Who is a sword master and George Lucas thought he did such a good job that Gillard actually has a scene in the third Star Wars prequel. You may have noticed that one of the red blades was Sir Christopher Lee who I believe actually holds the record for the most cinematic fights on screen. The main difference for why the Duels seam so wooden in the original trilogy versus the prequel, is because Lucas set it up where the first duel was a cyborg versus an extremely old man and then you got to see Luke progressing in his own training. During the prequel era this was a time when Jedi Knights were prominent throughout the Galaxy. At the time of episode 1 there were 10,000 Jedi Knights serving the Republic. The lightsaber colors themselves are dictated by the kyber crystals at the heart of every lightsaber. The Sith lightsabers or the dark side lightsabers have been bled by pouring a bunch of negative emotions into the kyber crystals therefore causing this red effect because the crystals cry out by bleeding. The prequels are about the fall of Darth Vader and how the Democracy of the Republic turned into the tyranny of the empire. The original trilogy is about the Redemption of Vader by his son and the destruction of the empire that Vader helped create. The downside of not watching them in chronological order you end up missing that the lightsaber that Anakin is using in that fight on Mustafar is the one that Luke loses when his hand gets chopped off on Bespin( which would later find its way into the hands of Rey) the nine film Main Saga is buffeted by three films which would be classed as Anthology films, 4 CGI series, and soon to be 5 Live action series. Also fun fact the actors Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are actually that fast. The start of that final fight that is actually them and their natural speed that's how good they got while training for that fight
Crystal colour typically refers to your resonance in and how you use the force. Green are for the people who connect to and use the living force for peaceful endeavours. The blue colour indicates that you use the force for combative aspects. Red more often than not is just associated with the Sith and the dark side. Red crystals are former jedi crystals that have undergone the "bleeding" process, where they subject the crystal to the users pain and turn it red. White is a purified crystal, meaning a crystal that was once red, but is now white. Yellow is for the jedi temple guards and force users that are also very attuned to the living force.
Hey guys, I just thought you'd like knowing that for the Episode I fight, Duel of the Fates, they actually had to SLOW DOWN the footage of the three of them fighting because they were going so fast that the production team thought people wouldn't believe it!
This was beyond enjoyable. I'm so glad you guys kept mentioning the score. And the final fight between green saber luke n Vader the music is incredibly emotional. I also love how you kept looking away trying not to get spoiled. This was a great video.
it doesn't have much point to watch this without at least watching a few movies though or at least play the games lol, it just won't feel that great to watch it
That last fight in episode 1 was between Ewan McGregor and Ray Park. I don’t know about McGregor but Ray Park has multiple black belts and they both put in an insane amount of time training to get their fight as close to perfect as it could get. They even had to slow the fight down in editing because the producer/editor/whoever didn’t think audiences would believe they could move that fast (which is a very weird thing to think considering it’s a sci-if movie with lasers).
I think as a general rule they have to slow down most fight scenes for movies. The human fist or foot can usually move a lot faster than the human eye can follow.
"This Ni**** went evil or something" If only he knew how right he was.
“damn this guy turned evil or something”, yeah mhm “that guy”
I just want to point out that 19:17 is not just a random spinning for your eyes, as some uninitiated people might think. The reason it was put in the fight is that Obi Wan (the one in the brighter robes) trained Anakin ever since he was a little boy, he taught him everything, they were like brothers with same manners in some aspects. The spinning should just tell the audience how alike they really are, how Anakin embraced Obi Wan's fighting style so you could tell that the one was raised and taught by the other.
And how they were so in sync that their blades never touchd
Watching this made me feel like I was watching these duels for the first time. Even though I had seen them over a thousand times 😅
Watches Mustafar Duel: Oh this is definitely the best one.
Star Wars Fans: I love democracy
Doesn't want to get spoiled... but watches every major fight scene in the first two trilogies LOL
Fun Fact:
The Actor who plays Darth Maul (the guy with the double lightsaber) is Ray Park who is also a professional Stuntman. He did his own stunts for the movie and also did motion capture for Maul in the final season of Star Wars The Clone Wars.
3:10 - “Damn he soning him in this one” funny you say that😏

You guys need to watch the movies for context. It’s really exciting watching new starwars folk start there journey. Just ignore the sequels…. I know I wish I did
Coming soon for sure.
“He’s son-ing him in this one.” - That’s the perfect quote for this scene in multiple ways.
I have been so waiting for a video reaction like this.
I love this video because you say what pretty much every star wars fan ever has said once in their life especially the "the purple lightsabre is fire"
The dual bladed lightsaber Darth Maul uses is called a Saber Staff and is one of the deadliest in star wars and also something if it were made in real life would be extremely effective in combat
Assuming it's made right and you have proper training with it. It's very dangerous to use, but with skill and training it covers your entire front (and wards off the back) while also sending a flurry of blows. The only problem would be weight, but the saberstaff doesn't much so they don't have to worry. Us is a different question.
I gotta say i appreciate how much you liked the first one you watched. Many people don't like that fight, which is somewhat understandable knowing what lightsaber fighting is like now. But that one was literally the very first lightsaber fight ever made, and nobody at that time even knew wtf any of that stuff was, including the actors. I appreciate the actors doing what they could to really get into it as much as they did, its so much fun.
Episode 6 luke vs vader is my favorite live action duel. So much emotion and meaning in that fight.
"he's sonning him on this one" is the best unintentional joke i've ever heard

Guy on the right: I can’t look and spoil it! (Can’t look away)😂
The reason why there is purple lightsaber, is that S. L. Jackson wanted purple lightsaber and George gave it to him :D Then they clarified for the Lore that purple lightsaber owners use a bit of dark side to channel it to better fight dark side users

It’s amazing watching the original fights, then the Prequels were fantastic shows. Also, love how you’re watching ever fight and worried about spoilers
Duel of the Fates, Anakin vs Obi-Wan, and Darth Vader vs Luke in Return of the Jedi are the best lightsaber fights in my opinion.

The inner Star Wars nerd in me wants to be in the room with them giving context to the fights.
Thanks for really watching all Lightsaber duels in Star Wars 🙏
Grew up watching star wars my whole life can't wait for you to watch the old republic trailers all in order
Watching the movies in order brings much more context to all the fights.
Watch the Original Trilogy 1st!!! Episode 4, 5 & 6 in that order, best experience 👍.
It isnt the best experience, it was however the only experience for many people
Watching in chronological order has merits but the best way would be machete order (4,5,1,2,3,6) to protect people from spoilers and still have the end be the end, not to mention Luke's off screen character growth between 5 & 6 can be answered by seeing Anakin's growth before hand
@@more-reasons6655 uh no man just nah. 4 5 6 then 1 2 3. or 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 and ignore the sequels all together
@@Xero-rr2ol completely agree on missing out the JJ fan films.
My grievances with either full trilogy first is due 6 feeling like an end and 4 feeling like a beginning, ep4 barely has any force and is a good introduction following Luke story, 5 follows with that but then 6 opens with Luke dressed in black, meeting a crime lord and force choking people which is nothing like the Luke we saw in the previous two
Watching the prequels first makes ep4 and 5 look really old and boring by comparison, not to mention the slow fight between Obi and Vader. And viewers will know everything about Luke before he does
Watching it in Machete order changes so little but adds so much, still get to follow Lule's journey, then see how Anakin's journey played out then watch how both stories end. It also changes it up so a death star is in the first and last movies instead of first and third
Final points, ep6 opens up with a reintroduction to all the main characters with the Jabba's palace and barge scenes and the film also shows places and people introduced in the prequels considering the special edition came out after the prequels, therefore a first time viewer wont get the full effect without knowing the places or the characters from the prequels first, which is why I believe 6 should be watched last
My full order allways was

2
The Clone wars
3
(Andor once it's finished)
Kenobi
Rebels
Rogue one
4
5
6
The Mandalorian
The book of boba fett

Many hate episode 1, but it's got the best saber fight of any of them.
It’s really cool to see people that aren’t exactly fans enjoy the duels because they truely are a treat on the eyes and if you invest yourself into the movies they become even better. Also the lava planet that Anakin and obi-wan fight on is Mustafar which actually holds great significance in the entire Saga but I won’t dare spoil anything in case you do want to watch the movies.
Hayden Christenson is Anakin, Ewan mcgregor is obi wan, and both of them got STUPID good with saber fighting. The Blue vs blue one, episode 3.
And in the story, anakin is one of the most powerful jedi, with an incredibly aggressive fighting style, while obi wan is a master of defense. They mirrored each other perfectly, and thats why it wasn't so simple for one to win hehe
Those guys who you called "trash" -- they were *skilled* Jedi masters. The fact that Palpatine took them out so fast is more a testament to his skills.
