    Wow! I never seen other RUclipsrs explaining this kind of thing, I really appreciate this video , it helps a lot of people to understand more how to fly a drone, hopefully other RUclipsrs can learn from you my brother, little steps like this can help a lot.
    Most of the RUclipsrs make videos just to make money, not to teach others.

    Manual mode really is a different beast. I can't recommend a simulator enough. There are some really great ones for under $20.
    Order the controller a few weeks before buying the package and spend 20 minutes a day in a sim. The tutorials are decent, but going into freestyle mode and following along with a learn to fly series on RUclips helped me learn much faster.

    Cool video thanks.
    I still have a question. If I set the Avata2 to full manual, the left stick range of motion on my DJI Remote 3 controller is still very high, I have to move it quite far for the drone to start or fly. Do I have to set this up myself or what am I doing wrong? The stick reacts as if I were in normal mode or sport mode.
    Thank you for your feedback.

    I think you are explaining the left stick in normal/sports mode wrong. You are explaining it as being the thrust, starting from the midpoint up. Where it actually is the up or down movement. When you bought the rc, the screws on the back were loose and the y-axis was spring-loaded in the middle. Then, in normal/sports mode, when you push the stick up the drone will fly higher, until you release the stick. It then springs to the center and the drone stays level. Then when you push the stick down, the drone goes down, until you release it and it stays level again. This is like the H-alt mode in Lift-off.

    • @brandon9689

      Tryp definitely has much faster and snappier drones to choose from. It's definitely not accurate to flying an Avata 2.
      But learning to make it through races nice and steady without crashing will make sure you're more than ready to control the Avata.

    What the Reason for the Left stick in Stationary in the down position?

    • @josuerm7171
      @josuerm7171 7 месяцев назад

      It stays in the position you leave it because it controls the throttle of the drone. You have to open the controller to do this it's a simple arrangement, the manual tells you how to do it because when you open it every time you touch the left stick it returns to the center And the drone stops

    What button is the arm button when in manual or do you have to take off in normal then switch

    • @brandon9689
      @brandon9689 8 месяцев назад

      You need to have the throttle down and you double tap the start/stop button to arm motors. It's much safer and easier to just start in normal or sport, get to altitude and then toggle over. But you can take off from manual if you want.
      Again the throttle stick needs to be all the way down or it will not arm from a dead stop in manual. This is a standard safety feature across all FPV drones not just DJI.
      Make sure you really know what you're doing before you take off like this, It's a much greater risk to your drone. It's much more vulnerable to windy conditions, it's easy to accidentally bounce it off the ground and damage it.

      @@xavier_arthur I learned the hard way yesterday then! Hahaha because I'm used to inverting my sticks in the simulator. So now back to the drawing board and relearn my muscle memory the opposite. Didn't take me long ..
      But now I have to get used to it.
      There was a vid on someone tearing down their RC2 to move the magnets to invert their sticks because there was no option in the goggles and DJI didn't address this apparently for quite sometime.
      Luckily I only crashed on grass and no broken propellers.
      Perhaps mention this on your next video that the right stick is not inverted??

This feature could be useful when I suddenly want to fly slowly and quickly switch the gimbal to mid, or if I want to fly in reverse and switch the C2 to down. Hopefully, they will allow programming it to a specific position in the future.

    Hello, I want to ask a question. I bought controller 3 today. But I want to use my drone not in manual mode, but only with this controller because I'm used to mini 4 pro. I wonder if I can flip and acro in S and N modes without manual mode?

      Yes you can, on the left side there's a switch for N, S and Manual mode. You can't switch to manual mode without first doing some configurations and inputing some joystick commands to unlock manual, so it's perfectly ok

    Thanks for the video. I’ve been wanting to dive into FPV drones but have always been scared of the learning curve with them. Guess the avata 2 comes with some training wheels that can help me along the way. Any recommendations on flight simulators that may help ?
