A lovely area for sure...love feeling the breeze along the shore! Invigorating at many times here in NS. Lots of history in them graveyards for sure! Take good care and thanks for the explore...Bruce and Otis
Thanks for joining me on this adventure Bruce. It certainly was bracing, it was hard to film in the wind but I'm sure the winds are even colder in Canada. Have a great weekend.
Great to see the seafront walk and learn about the history of Hartlepool, it's fantastic to see considering i didn't realise just how important this port town is. Some beautiful buildings and military defences along the way, this was great to watch, very chilled! thank you for bringing us along with you :)
Thanks for watching, Hartlepool today is very much a shadow of its former self. Once the third biggest port in England and home to shipbuilding, coal exports, steelworks. It was a big player but the headland still retains some of the old fishing town charm.
Only 30 minutes away from us, yet a place we never visit and I am beginning to wonder why, looks so much better than I remember. Not a fan of graffiti but those murals were superb, as was St Hilda's Church, a place I think we need to revisit, cheers Alan.
Cheers Alan, the headland is worth a look if you're passing, you could also walk further up the East Durham coastal path too up to Seaham. I filmed this in my lunch hour so didn't have time to go further. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I’d never expected Hartlepool to be so pretty and full of history Andrew ! How wrong was I - thanks for the tour and so many interesting spots up on the headland , so much history and even spotted a few possible photography comps in there too 👍🏻
The Headland does have a charm all of its own and goes back to the 6th Century. The main part of the town, formally West Hartlepool was created in the Industrial Revolution to serve as a port (coal exports) and later for shipbuilding. At one point there was huge rivalry between the two parts of the town. Thanks for watching Andrew.
Really liked this one Andrew! Never been here before but it looks like a great place to walk around. Lots of great war history and I'm sure even more further back in time. JoAnna would love that! Lovely pier area would be a great place for sunrise photography I would imagine, especially with those clouds rolling off the ocean. Great stuff as always mate! Hope you are doing well!
Cheers Paul, I work not too far away so thought I'd film this in my lunch hour and get some exercise too. It's also a good way to see if there are any good spots for photography. Steetley Pier I do want to photograph at some time, I did do a vlog on the other channel a while back using the Instax camera I have. It's a popular spot for photographers.
My friend very nice sharing 🤩😊
Thanks for watching

Fantastic wee sea town. Lots of history behind it I would say.
Yes Paul, and not just about hanging monkeys either 😄. Thanks for watching 👍
