You are right, in the live shows instead of the rap SuMetal pumps up the crowd.
They did perform the rap at least once live that I know of…
The downside to not performing the rap is the jump back to metal isn’t as jarring.

You should react to Bollywood Babymetal with “shanti Shanti Shanti”. There last album covered so many genre’s and countries “papaya” had a Thai rapper. They have done songs with the lead from Sabaton and of course there live performance with the Metal God Robb Halford with Painkiller and Breaking the law and the band absolutely crushed it.

Surely they started Young, but i can't see them going down the kawaii-metal genre for much longer, since there Is some Age limits. Unless they reinvent themselves or change members 😁
I think their last album, Metal Galaxy, took them pretty far away from their earlier cutesy stuff. Most of the songs were quite mature.
i'd still say they've got a cute appeal to them, just in a more mature kinda way, if that makes sense. even if they aren't doing "kawaii" metal anymore, that cuteness angle is kinda integral to who they are, & i can't see them ditching it entirely.

Talking about Su on stage, her stage presence constantly makes me forget that she's only 5'1" (give or take, depending on your source).

In case you were undecided on what music wanted to listen to at any given time....They were made to be a fusion of jpop and metal.... I'm Japanese and can't understand the exact English of An Unhelpful Guide's content, but I recommended An Unhelpful Guide because it looks more fun.
The basic concept of BABYMETAL is "なんじゃこりゃ What the heck? The girls used to talk about how they were going for it. So I hope they can do another guide video full of fun jokes.
