Thalappakatti Biriyani is a very famous biriyani.It has an unique flavour. It is made from Zeera Samba rice\Kaima rice and we use shallots for preparing this biriyani.

Ingredients :
Chicken - 600 g
Jeerakasala/kaima rice - 500 g (2 1/2 cup)soak for 30 mins
Shallots - 350 g ( crushed)
Garlic - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 2" size
Cinnamon - 3 ( 2" size)
Star anise - 1
Cardamom - 8
Cloves - 12
Kapok buds/marathi moggu - 1 ( small)
Pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli - 5
Dalda/ Vanaspati - 50 ml
Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon
Mint leaves - a handful
Coriander leaves - a handful
Sunflower oil
Salt
Hot water - 4 1/2 cup

ഇന്ന് ഞാറാഴ്ച ആയത് കൊണ്ട് ബിരിയാണി ഉണ്ടാക്കാമെന്ന് ഭാര്യ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ok പറഞ്ഞു. പക്ഷേ അവൾ എനിക്ക് പണി തന്നു; ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കണമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു 😢അപ്പോൾ യു ട്യൂബ് തപ്പിയപ്പോൾ ഷീബ ചേച്ചിയുടെ ഈ ബിരിയാണി കണ്ടു. പിന്നെ വേറൊന്നും നോക്കിയില്ല... ഈ ബിരിയാണി ഉണ്ടാക്കി. ഭാര്യ ഹാപ്പി ആയി. 😍 ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഇല്ല ചേച്ചി, അത്ര അസാധ്യ രുചികരം ആയിരുന്നു.
