Yeah the more I think about Mullen doing the booking for some of the guests, the more questions I have.
I don’t think Nick booked him, Adam pointed at the cameraman David and said it’s because of this 20 year old this is happening, I think he was trying to set me up in response to his prompted challenge to make a joke on lynching by norm

I have a few mutual friends of Norm and have hung out with him over the years. one thing I always liked about him is that he has an amazing sense of humor and even has jokes. I’m happy people finally get to see this side of him instead of always seeing him so serious.

the only time i’ve ever been genuinely disgusted by tafs/ct is when adam interrupted norman while he was talking about his mother dying of cancer to make a trite joke about how the doors are overrated. i didn’t know i had a line but turns out it’s that

Looks to me like there were a few cuts between the story and his joke. They were probably talking about something else when he made the joke about the doors.

I didn’t know the show, and had to warm up to it for a sec, not knowing how uncomfortable it was gonna be, and then it became charmingly funny. And Finkelstein was a good sport. Good laughs, all up to the hallelujah at the end. Well done. 👏
