I havnt had a boss that’s been about mentoring in a really long time. Just kinda have to deal with people playing hot potato and making sure you have proof you’ve done your part so no one can put any blame on you.
I can see the effort in these videos therefore I subscribed to you. I hope your channel grows, it is very useful. Lol hope you remember your initial subscribers once you become famous
These videos are awesome. I wish I would have watched this before having some difficult conversations with my boss. Definitely subscribing so I don't miss out on more. Thank you!
So I just started this chill job where I help out taking care of dogs since it’s a dog daycare place. I started about 2 weeks ago and in 2 weeks my parents are playing for my 21st on the 10 of August and. I want the 10th - 11th off bc you know I’m turning 21 how exciting! My actually bday is on the 8th but I don’t mind working on my bday bc the big day is on the 10th. How would I ask for the day off in this situation. I just know it’s too early to ask but then again cmon now 😔
Adreena Rodriguez happy early birthday! I would ask as soon as possible, giving more notice increases the odds they will say yes. Also explain it the way you explained it to me, that you understand it’s a big ask so soon, but that it’s quality time with your parents. Stay humble and I think you have a good chance at them saying yes.
This is terrible in terms of a sales scripting of reasons. I need a handbook to regurgitate what to say. This is all mindset and no sales! What if your boss doesn't care about you and hands your co-workers time off. Then you are scooted. Sales techniques for stuff like this. Open, transition, close! What if you are a newbie looking to use the boss. Since the boss grinds you.
Your videos are very useful and well made. I have a question about asking for a promotion. I have performed beyond expectations in my current job ( that I got because of your banf binder strategy) but I don’t know 1) if I should ask for one at all after one year. 2) what’s the right way to ask? Will it be taken as me being “too ambitious” if I ask?
Given that you have performed beyond, I would say yes, have the conversation. I also have a way for you to plant the seed in their mind / get them committed to a promotion later down the line if they don’t give it to you now. 2 videos: First, is straight up how to ask for a raise/promotion: ruclips.net/video/xNCvBySmSpU/видео.html Second, is how to get them committed to giving you a promotion in the future: ruclips.net/video/yJBaq3VOBV8/видео.html
