- The "it" factor is often used to describe elite athletes, though few are able to explain just what it means. But to be an Elite 11 quarterback, you definitely must have "it."
Welcome to the It Factory is an eight-part documentary that tells the story of the 2016 Elite 11, the nation's top fraternity for high school quarterbacks.
Watch the video above to learn about the road to the Elite 11 for Alabama commit Tua Tagovailoa and Michigan commit Dylan McCaffrey.

"I'm not gonna let 2 inches define me as a human being."
me neither pal, me neither.
But your girlfriends may choose to define you by your lack of 2 inches.
That is Jake Haener a UW Husky player who is playing behind a guy who he should be starting ahead. It is funny how other teams understand what they got in a player. But UW my team will suffer with Jake Browning who is limited in oh seemingly every sense of the word. Look at Bama, they have a fine QB in Jalen Hurts, but still try to make their oh team better and put in Tua. All those players are starting for their collective teams. I saw Shawn Robinson and he here looked very good. TCU is going to be a great team in the coming years with him. Jake Haener even in mop up duty for the Huskies, runs much better than Browning and throws way better than Browning. If oh he had played versus Auburn we would have won going away from Auburn. Cause all teams do; is play Jake to pass, they don't need to pay any real attention to Browning running or really just dominating with his arm. Browning is proficient but lacking. As Jake Browning is so limited, cannot run and only throws real accurate and his arm strength is above average.
Jake Haener gives me a hard on, every time he throws. He is just a bigger armed, more accurate, speedier version of Browning.
Don't get me wrong I love Jake Browning, he is a good guy. But people play this loyalty card up here in the oh North West too much and it gets in the way of winning. It is what I admire a little of the East Coast schools they are little more cold hearted. Which we used to have a coach like that at the UW in Don James who was Nick Saban's basic mentor.
Watch for Haener in the PAC 12.
@@MikeProvocateur-tu2jl what u got to say about call tua now?
Who would've thought tua would lead bama to a natty
Tua proved them sooo wrong ended up a first round pick and Elite 11 MVP👏🏿👏🏿
Salute to jack for coming right back and balling out
Trent shouldn’t be yelling at Tua, Tua should be yelling at Trent
I LOVE THESE
👊🏾👏🏾
Tua made it to the dolphins btw
Jake Haener may be Alex Moran. just saying
7:19 well said young man, well said, never let 2 inches define you 😤
I think it's pretty easy to say that Tua definitely has the fucking IT factor.
Who’s here after Jake Haener picked apart UCLA 🤩
The "sleeper" looks like Rory Mcilroy.
100% Mcilroy
the sleeper is jay cutler.
Now Tua in the NFL
Haener just got drafted by the Saints.
damn Dylan is 6'5" now
"I'm not gonna let 2 inches define me as a person" LMAOOO
Who would of thought that Ed friggin McCaffrey would give birth to two of the most highly touted recruits in the country.
All those neck cracks.
He was my favorite prayer growing up. Always loved his tenacity with those small pads
NOTIFICATION SQUAD
Jake haener was right in front of yall eyes
Trent dilfer?Yea let's value his opinion.
I go to high school an. hour from Dylan in Fort Collins, Co and we play him and valor christian in about 3 weeks
The Epsilon Project do you go to Fountain Fort Carson because I go to Valor and we are really excited to play you guys!!
Luke Krukowski no i played for Poudre Up in Fort Collins
tua now a top 5 draft pick lol the irony
what's the name of the song in 0:30?
Darude-Sandstorm
Trent Dilfer sucked. Tua is already better than he was LOL
LMAO SO TRUE!
why are they saying that 6 foot and a half is short??
for a quarter back its kinda short
Six feet 6 inches is short? Tom Brady is 6' 4".
franconese01 not 6 foot 6 he’s 6 foot and half of an inch
MICHIGAN IS SO STACKED
Eugene Donovan now lol. GO BLUE!
I really can’t wait to see McCaffrey get his shot. I don’t the Brandon Peters is the answer. BP is a good player, he makes good decisions and finds the open guys well but he is terribly inaccurate passing over 20 yards. He missed a lot of wide open guys down field this season. McCaffrey will be a difference maker. Go Blue!
Well this didn’t age well
The last person I'd want scouting a QB for me is Trent Dilfer. He's proof that playing - even at a high level - does not qualify you for scouting.
I think the only QB he's ever accurately scouted at the E11 was Jameis Winston and that was easy, onvious and duh. He's had so many cases of being wrong thay it's comical.
This comment has nothing to do with DM, btw. Dilfer is just a choad.
"He plays golf? Oh, now he's in. Passers love golf."
lolwut? Terrific analysis, Trent. I have to stop commenting because I'm 4mins in and I want to (rightfully) shit on Dilfer every minute.
He scouted Trevor Lawrence last year and he’s kicking ass at Clemson (coming from an Alabama fan)
My dog Haener
Future stara
welp tua turned out fine
its making the band all over again.
People saying that Tua is better than Dylan... you haven't been paying attention. Michigan has a 5 star QB running their system right now who can ball no doubt. However, every time Dylan has been on the field huge things have happened.... every time. Dylan will be a Junior when he takes over for Shea, I expect big things.
If he was so good than why didn't he beat out Shea for the spot?
Tua 5th pick
Dylan: not in the NFL
I'm 5-11 1/2 and I'm short but I can throw a ball better than most 6ft 3in QB? Why does it matter if ur short or not that shouldn't matter it matters if u have skill and ability to take control of ur team?
people are tall in the NFL. they do not want a shorty who can't see over their o-line.
Stfu u probably dont even play
You're not short, your short for a QB. A distinct difference
