    I rode my 18 Triglide 61 miles on 12/31/24 and rode another 70 miles on 1/1/25. I have your thunder torques,tank lift, ebs, deflector wings, floor board extensions, and comfort lift. Saving up for a breather (606 naked) and power vision tuner next.

    Happ New Year. I use to ride on New Years Day in NJ. They had The Chilly Chile Run in Ogdensburg NJ, it was a lot of fun.

    Just to start the year off, took a short ride in the Black Hills. 20° temp is why it was short ! Riding my 09 Ultra Roadsmith conversion. Have done the DK makover to it front to rear. Thanks ! Your stuff makes a difference in my ride ! Looking to do more and revamp the audio system soon before a back surgery at the end of March. At 70+ I still love it !

    We did 156 mile. Polar bear ride on 1/1/25.
    We have DK rear lift
    Front and rear floorboard spacers
    Two questions
    Your thoughts on the 9 degree rake for trike
    And
    Your handle bars ?
    Ps many more things I want from DK 😊
    I got a recluse clutch for Christmas. Not install yet but next week

      Sounds like an awesome ride! Here is a walk around video of Kevin's Trike that you may find interesting/useful - ruclips.net/video/5h77GQJTW1w/видео.html
      The video above talks about his bars, and regarding the rake kit, while it is expensive, it makes the steering VERY easy, some say too easy (twitchy). But if you do the comfort triangle, and get your bars just right, and it is still difficult to steer, the rake kit will fix it. I would go with one from Cut n Shoot Customs out of Conroe, Texas.

    I have put tons of DK products on my Trike. Tour pack relocation to footboard spacers to tank lift to the adjustable passenger footpegs to external breather system. Great products!
    If I may make a suggestion the stock taillights, I replaced with eagle lights taillights. They have a diagonal cut to them looks much better than stock. Check into it. Dig the ride video!

    I rode. 31° with a wind chill of 28° standing still. No heated gear, just leathers and a helmet. I was hoping for snow to make the ride a little more interesting, but that didn't happen. Love your products and info !!!

    I like that bumper. Been looking for one for my 23 Freewheeler but no luck yet. I can’t ride in winter even if there’s no snow because there’s always salt residue somewhere on the roads.

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  14 дней назад

      Salt can really do a number on your ride. Yeah, Devin fabricated this one for Kevin, but we do not make them to sell. I hope you find a good bumper, I know there are places that sell them. Thank you for commenting! 😎 MB

      @@DKCustomProducts Salt has never been a problem for me - even in the Chicago area. And this new liquid chemical stuff is the worst. I spray S100 Corrosion Protectant on ALL metal parts (except rotors) in November and then hose off in April. Have never had rust or corrosion on any of my Harleys. I've tried a lot of metal protection products over the years (65 years), and none have worked as great as S100 - the worst was H-D's product, my wheels turned to crap the first winter.

    Maybe it’s just me but you went on for quite some time about the add ons and a lot of the additions weren’t all about comfort. I just spent $41k on a 2024 TriGlide. Now I understand the chrome fancys but shouldn’t a machine this expensive have thought about cooling or stress on the shifter? This isn’t my first Harley and it makes me mad that I should have to add extras that should have already been thought about in the development stage. Maybe I’m just grouchy cuz it is January. I live in Cleveland and they salt here. Once the salt comes out I don’t ride till most of that has been washed away. I am going to bring my air pressure down in my rear tires but until I’ve got this thing paid down a bit I won’t be putting anymore big money into something that should have been built correctly in the first place. I do want my partner comfortable however but we’re good so far. Can’t wait for Spring!! ❤ Just my 2 cents. 😊

    • @DKCustomProducts
      @DKCustomProducts  13 дней назад

      That stinks about the salt, but when you live somewhere that gets a lot of ice and snow the salt is important. Harley purposely makes these bikes a blank slate...what some folks like, others don't. Here is a video, with Hoodie from Harley-Davidson, that talks about their strategy, and why the bikes don't come with everything You or I want- ruclips.net/video/__NE6h1DhCg/видео.html

      So you decided to finance 41k on a motorcycle knowing you’d have to do mods / add accessories and now you are on the internet complaining about it. The salt isn’t the only thing on the roads in Cleveland. Get a life dude. 😂
