I totally agree. What I also liked about her was her superb intonation. She did not showboat and change the melody in ten different ways (with the exception of the ornamentation on the words, "Banner yet wave", and her delivery was great). She saw the moment unfold and let it happen naturally. What a great event and I was really touched. Beautiful voice and voices!

Forget having one singer perform the national anthem. I think this is how the national anthem should be sung. By each individual there to show how great it is when everybody unites together and sings the anthem as one. Glorious. Brought tears to my eyes. Maybe the idiots in the NBA could learn a thing or two from the NHL fans.
