I like seeing more auction storages...dont stop !!! Great locker, Taco ! You found many tools in the locker...Great score 👍👍I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos !!!
This is a great video. You really bought a great locker. You should easily get double your money if not more! I'm trying to picture all those tools sorted and laid out on tables. It would take a lot of table space. I'll bet you find some real gems. After washing (first in vinegar, then with detergent) some of those clothes should sell well. Your banter really makes your videos a real joy to watch. I think you are fantastic at what you do with the trash picking, storage locker buying, scrap metal recycling, and flea marketing. Saving the planet one piece at a time!
Taco wash clothes in whit vinegar first don't dry then rehash with tide wither febreze should be able to save clothes. As long as the mold didn't eat the fabric. Do not dry clothes until they are clean to your desire.
We've been picking up lots of rusty tools for a few years and had the same results as you. We maybe made a few bucks per item. That all changed when we picked up a bench grinder like the one you just found. We started cleaning up the tools with a brass brush and polishing wheel attachments and they have been flying out the door on eBay ever since! Our income has increased by at least $150/week. More on good weeks. And it only takes a couple of hours and you have 20 shiny vintage or antique tools. I would totally think about setting up that grinder and cleaning some of those tools. You'll make a LOT more money.
ChirumboloFilm ... Good advice on the tools. I also clean mildly rusty tools that way. Heavy rust, I use hydrochloride acid (Muriatic Acid) then coat with thin gun oil. Never found a tool yet that couldn’t be “spiffed up” a bit to make it more salable.
Hey @@cynthiamoon372! Thanks for the reply! We havn't decided what other ways to clean up tools to try yet. Just a week or 2 until it stays nice outside and we can experiment with ways that need plenty of ventilation. We have some stuff that is so rusted that we pretty much wrote them off as a lost cause. We've tried the soaking in vinegar trick for some of the moderately rusted items, and that works OK. And we want to try the electrolysis bath thing, but the Muriatic Acid method isn't one I've looked into. Is that easy to get at the store or do you have to order it online? I know I could just look it up, but I like talking to people.
The cow skull is painted to look like one of Boyd Elder's famous skull paintings - one that was used as the album cover for 'One of These Nights' by The Eagles. May add value. If it was an original Boyd Elder skull then you'd be looking at biiig money!
when you clean out a storage locker you should just leave your camera on the trypod and leave it in one place an then you can show what you have unsead of caring it around.
I will say this taco your always down to earth about things and enjoy the work you do! you videos have given me the idea to resale stuff never thought I would do it! but it's cool what you do man.
Nice manageable locker with little garbage, a few good items and many flea market quick sale items. It was fun to watch you having fun cleaning out the unit. Thanks !
Good stuff. I m 74 and a tool nut. I have never seen a copper toolbox in 4 continents. If it is copper it is something special. The two red jack stands look like professional quality heavy duty. If there is a name google it. Could be worth $100 or more.
You should be able to get the mold out of the clothes by soaking them with vinegar and laundry detergent. 2 cups of vinegar and a cup of detergent. Hunting clothes are expensive.
Hi Taco nice unit loads of tools & flee markets stock! Please keep buying the storage units as you show how real & no fancy stuff what you get is what we see!! Like many people we love to see the unboxing part in detail as you do it so we get to see the treasures same time you do! Love watching all your videos whatever you are up to during your day! Thanks for sharing Mick G 🇬🇧
you should come down to south central PA we make and sell concrete statues and we have a big virgin mary and a st. francis too and praying hand almost 200 different statues to choose from
, I left PA after growing up in American Siberia known as Moscow, PA in the North Pocono area. I don't think I would ever go back. Watching the snow in Taco's videos is quite enough.
That was fun! Oh, and the round-bottomed bucket thingy in the beginning looks a lot like those pots they used to hang in an open fireplace and cook stuff in.
My idea of sorting all this stuff after getting it home or to warehouse...putting on fave podcast.. cup of coffee..and powering through . Cause this stuff is awesome!! Great vid!!❤❤
Wow! What a find! The tall container with a metal rim cover could have held plumbing parts. We used a lot of them when we moved To Iowa from Illinois. My husband worked at a plumbing company and we got them free. Kept several and stored fabric in them. 😊
Wash in cold water with a cup or more of vinegar , it will help with the mold and smell. I use vinegar with the essence of the orange peels that I soak for a few weeks. Sure makes my laundry to come clean. Love watching all your videoes. Live in Northern British Columbia Canada.
Taco- I have had good luck with washing "mildew smelling" clothes with a cup or 2 of white vinegar. It helps removed the musty smell. Great video, looks like it was a good one!
You paid the most in your short career, but you killed it! Tools and cool clothing will triple your money! Great job branching out into lockers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That locker was a win-win all the way. That concrete Blessed Mother Mary Statue sells for $100 where I live, I know, bcuz I paid that for mine...so please don’t let her go too cheap. All in all, great locker. 👍🏻
You should be able to make a fortune on this locker. Even the cow skull. We used to have one on the back porch and planted cactus in all the openings. I wish we had taken a picture of it. Don't know when it grew a body and walked away!
We also had a cow skull and i set it up outside in a chair then in a tree to take pics of it and then made two paintings of it. Then time passed by and wanted to make another different painting and looked for it in the tree i left it and it was gone no where to be seen.
Looks like a barn clean out with the mass of old tools ( some ferrier looking), saddle pad, weather vane part , and heavy rugged clothes. Make sure you keep an eye out for any old sharpening stones among all the old tools. Sharpening stones can go for hundreds $$.
When you wash those clothes put vinegar in with them to get rid of the mildew smell. It won't take out the mold but it should take care of the smell. Great video!! Cheers!
Thank you for including girls who might be into tools. I carry needle nose pliers in my bag, a measuring tape and have a toolbox. All good for repairing anything that may arise, including jewelry.
Yes, I agree with everyone more of these storage unit videos. You got lots of tools, the wagon is really cute and love the virgin Mary piece. Great video.
Great video. Regarding the clothes, make sure you don’t put anything in the dryer unless it’s perfectly clean. The dryer sets the stains permanently. Also, I have found that the best stain remover is actually a good quality carpet spot remover. Love the locker videos.🇨🇦
The black kettle you were selling at flea market for $2 could be antique. Ot looks to mea black kettle used over fire for cooking in the 1800's. You might want to research that.
Yes!!! Those long johns that have the distinctive tag ARE Military issue. That little wagon, even though it's not an antique, is still very desirable, at least it is here in Indiana, AND I always sell weather vanes and lightning rod parts...those sell really well!!!
Hey Taco! The brown 'drawers' at 9:30 are older (90's) style military thermal undergarments... they are made from a poly blend... very good base layer, and can go for up to $20/ piece if you find the right buyer. Pick On!
The heavy statue is our Blessed Mother Mary she is beautiful and when we bought one for our mom's front yard it was about $55.00 great video and wonderful treasures congrats...
That Iron eagle looks like one from a American Legion Hall or something similar. Good thing about tools - if you can't keep or sell them, they go in your scrap steel buckets. :D
I have a Christmas tree like that wooden one. If you drill holes in each of the branches so to speak. Meaning the little things that jet out in the tree. You can put little lights in each hole and it’s adorable and sells for a good price. So cute.
I didn't see the condition of the skull , but the value may surprise you . Search E bay under taxidermy . It could pay for the unit . The teeth are worth money also , just according what they are .
Great locker love seeing what comes out next. Look up that rounded bottom bucket (the one you first pulled out). It looks like an old well bucket and could be worth some bucks. The rounded bottom would tilt to let the water fill. Now, back to finish the vid.
Soak rusty tools in water vinegar salt overnight. Then for 10 minutes in water baking soda (neutralises the vinegar) wipe down dry then spray lightly with wd-40. Makes a $20 bucket worth 50 with minimal effort
Put that moldy smellin stuff in the washer with ammonia, soap and warm water let it all agitate around for a minute or two then turn it off and leave it soak overnight. Then just turn it on the next day. It'll get the smell out but not the stains.
I am an estate liquidator, that's what we call a "papaw" locker...and I LOVE to get those, always good stuff in them for flea market or to add to my existing estates.
I really want to see you find something good.. Luv your videos and Your Personality You're so Humble and down to Earth... Unlike most of here Sending good Irish luck vibes Your way 😊
Dear Taco , those copper pots look to be shaped by hand. They look to have hammer marks all over the bottom. They are works of art and are very costly. Don't put a cheap price on those! They're beautiful and should clean up nicely. Personally if I were you, I keep them as it would go well with your home decor. Great video Taco good job!
Wow, Taco. Amazing get on this locker. Can’t tell you how many of those tools I’ve bought myself in the last couple years (either new or used). If only I knew about your hustle sooner.
Taco I estimated about $700 worth of items combined. If you sold each tool for a dollar you'd make much more. Great locker. Must have been an auto mechanic or carpenter or both. Awesome
Hey taco. Love ypur videos. At 4:40 that hose can attach to pool filters to drain water out. It's long enough to reach out to the street so you don't make a mess of your yard.
Great locker! Wish it was mine. The copper bucket is a well bucket (rounded bottom), and it looks like a painted buffalo skull from the short glimpse at the horn.
Wash the stuff that smells a bit moldy separately from the non-moldy stuff and put a halt cup of baking soda in with it. Might take the odor out. Just toss the stuff that has visible mildew, it is just about impossible to make it usable. Great score.
love the storage locker videos i wish there were more storage locker auctions around here. That statue was a little strange, we make concrete statues like that but much bigger ones~
I like seeing more auction storages...dont stop !!! Great locker, Taco ! You found many tools in the locker...Great score 👍👍I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos !!!
Ciobanu Marius yes please buy lots more storages mr stacks .
I would collect all the old tools. The old ones are hand forged and beautiful in themselves. Nothing is made like that now.
PRO-TIP. Taco: Unload from the TOP down! Prevents avalanches!

Those crimpers are actually used for installing and uninstalling the cross links on tire chains that you use in the winter time.
That Stanley lunchbox with thermos was a 20 spot all day.
Taco wash clothes in whit vinegar first don't dry then rehash with tide wither febreze should be able to save clothes. As long as the mold didn't eat the fabric. Do not dry clothes until they are clean to your desire.
how much vinegar?
@@jessicamurphy2314 1 to 2 cups
Does that get rid of the spots from mold? Wish I had known that a few years ago.
You can add baking soda as well and for Crystal M there is something called Orvis horse soap that takes a lot of stains out but not all of them.

mark Gillespie agreed. He needs to setup a table he can unpack on too.
@@bendermansI KNOW! All that bending over makes my back hurt, and I'm not the one doing it!
No i like the feeling of walking in and out and picking things up as if i were there! ☺
Wow, filled to the brim. Nice to have the sun to help light it up for us to see. Great Video as always. Hugs
Awesome video once again Mr.Stacks! God bless you ❤️❤️❤️🎥🎥🎥🌮🌮🌮

Got half a Mary on the half shell, which is in the front yard of every Italian house in NE PA. Great video.
you should come down to south central PA we make and sell concrete statues and we have a big virgin mary and a st. francis too and praying hand almost 200 different statues to choose from
I don't think it had the shell
That's why it was HALF a Mary on the half shell cuz it was missing the shell, or the other half.
, I left PA after growing up in American Siberia known as Moscow, PA in the North Pocono area. I don't think I would ever go back. Watching the snow in Taco's videos is quite enough.
Omgosh. In wisconsin, people partially bury claw foot tubs in the yard, then place Mary inside. I call it Our Lady of the Eternal Whirlpool.
That was fun! Oh, and the round-bottomed bucket thingy in the beginning looks a lot like those pots they used to hang in an open fireplace and cook stuff in.
Great video. I'd be curious to actually see a haul of the clothes you end up keeping from the storage lockers. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like the previous owner of the locker managed to get as much stuff in it as humanly possible.
Tooth puller...aaaaand I died lol!! Good locker!! You should more than double your money back!!

Those flat sided buckets are feed buckets that can be hung flat on a stall wall. Should have some value
My OCD drives me crazy when you put stuff in your van. I want to restack it all. Haha
Yeah, I’m a neat freak too. I’d likely stay up all night cleaning and organizing “stuff” after I got it home.

oooh! I need a bench grinder. great copper buckets! I like that old cardboard moving barrel that is filled w/work clothes, too. 💕
That was fun. Maybe you can drain your driveway with that blue hose!
Looks like a hose for a trash pump.
2” dia discharge hose is about $20 per 25’. That coil looked to be 50’ or more.
Nice locker. Looks like you got a little bit of everything, and you can never have to many tools!
The black kettle you were selling at flea market for $2 could be antique. Ot looks to mea black kettle used over fire for cooking in the 1800's. You might want to research that.

Lots of fun watching!
I think that cast eagle goes on the weather vein!!
The "tooth puller" looks like ice tongs almost. One messy locker. Cool video love the storage locker videos.
I have a similar wagon that I bought for $20 from some magazine that sells stuff. I found if you leave it where it can get wet, it will fall apart.

Taco Stacks hard work sir pays off! You are one hard worker.
That flat hose is used with a pump for emptying swimming pools etc. Very handy to have if you ever get a flood.
