The Cyber Nerds snice kylo is a blood descendant of Anakin/ Vader and Anakin was created from the force itself, hence his overwhelming power. If kylo is restarting his search for artifacts or anything that links to his past with his family, it wouldn’t be impossible to see him connect with both sides of Anakin- on a force sensitive planet or in some temple or somewhere important to Anakin, the first scene with rey on the desert planet, we don’t know if that’s jaaku or Tatooine, if we assume for a moment it’s the latter then it would back up the theory of kylo trying to connect with his grandfather by going to Anakin’s home world
The Cyber Nerds another thing that got me thinking about good old palps is that in legends he was able to come back through clone bodies, but in canon we KNOW he and his master practiced how to bring and manipulate life through the force and they even succeed in killing and bringing back pluagius master from the dead, it is extremely possible that palps held on to certain knowledge about keeping ones force life in tact after they die and becoming a force ghost. But so far in canon only Jedi can be force ghosts but if he were able to keep himself alive SOMEHOW it would a major turn. This brings me to my next idea- since palps helped create Anakin through the force, you could draw a conclusion that he did the same thing to create rey who’s parents have been one of the biggest mysteries in the sequel movies. Could palps have had the power to create another “chosen one” through rey then her purpose to him would be to bring him back to physical life- in the concept art for last Jedi on Luke’s Exile planet you can see what looks like a dark side force ghost but it never made it into the movies. JJ could be bringing it back to the screen, which I think is very possible, and one last thing the rise of skywalker could be something for kylo becoming or reaching his full potential since most people don’t think rey is a skywalker (I believe this too). My farewell statement is I’ve been in love with Star Wars since I was young I like to think I’m pretty versed and knowledgeable when it comes to Star Wars lore, Im 18 now and I grew up watching and loving the prequels and the clone wars and most importantly anakins development as a person trying to find who he is in the crazy universe he lives I can see a clear parallel to Anakin and kylo taking the same corse of action. I would really love to hear what you 3 think of what I’ve discussed

Guys this premiered at the Celebration the Star Wars convention. After the trailer was shown Ian McDiarmid walked out and in Palpatines gravel voice said "roll it again" with the mike drop. Crowd in the hall went wild.

Theory: Palpatine's remains were secretly recovered from the wreckage of that 2nd Death Star after it was destroyed and landed on that beach - that mashed up Death Star could either be the emperor's tomb or the last sith holy temple at sea

The teaser ends with Kylo's theme, but instead of its somber ending, it ends in a victorious, happy feel with two notes in major key.

The biggest piece of the puzzle here is Palpatine. Has he managed to cheat death? Does Kylo resurrect him somehow? Or is he merely haunting the burnt out remains of the second Death Star? Whatever the answer is I'm hyped, Palpatine's my boy and I've been waiting for him to reappear in canon since 2015.
He did in a way manage to cheat death. And with the help of some Kamino-esque cloning technology.

If it's Death Star 2 .. They're on Endor. Didn't know it had an ocean.. maybe there's a holocron on it with instructions from Palpatine about the Sith order. And that is what kylo is after. Remember that the Knights of Ren are supposed to be in the unknown regions searching for something. Either Sith or artifacts.

Man it’s so good to see people that love to talk about the trailer and theorize in their video, not just watch it and close out their video, these guys theorized and geeked out for almost 30 minutes, very entertaining and mind boggling theorizing with these guys, loved it. Could talk to you guys for days on end about these theories.
Since that's Palpatine I would guess that has to be the forest Moon of Endor.
Also there's many moons of the gas giant Endor, maybe they end up going to several different moons to collect things? Personally I think they're going to the Death star to recover the hidden location of Palpatines facility where they'll find out it's on Jakku. This will tie in with Rey's story and whatever Palpatine was doing there on that planet.

I think the Skywalker name is going to be used as a term for new jedi/force users. Instead of a specific character rising. It's a new order rising as Skywalkers. They will retire the name 'Jedi'

I am in the minority that liked the previous title, however I can see why it get's the hate from half if not most of the community..... I hope this is wrapped up well and gives a nod to all 8 movies that came before it. Having said that I am VERY happy this focus on Skywalker and 1 family line and 1 timeline can be done now..... leaving Star Wars to do other films in other time line's in other worlds with other conflicts in different ages of the Jedi and Sith as well as freeing them up to go anywhere an showcase any story.
