Very good choice, although they might make you wait 2 months in order for you to have your vehicle....I just picked up my 2021 rav4 hybrid XLE after waiting 2 months 😩...the car is in high demand and the factory was closed for 2 months because of the pandemic so they are now behind with their demand and sales.

Owner, 2019 Rav4 hybrid. Least this guy knows the car, but I don't think he drives a hybrid. If you bought a 2020. Replace the horn, $15, 10 min install. Replace the non-lit driver's door window buttons ($35), 10 min install. Even on Limited model. Those window and fob start features have to be programmed, get it done before leaving ! This car unlocks all doors when you open the trunk. Did he say the spare tire is "fully inflated", oh yes. There were spare tires you needed to inflate, then they would not fit in the trunk compartment again ! ! My mistake, that is a "feature" The trunk... people have put in many water bottle cases and collapsed the trunk as there is space between the tire and trunk cover. That's how you can "store it". Back seat... the passange front seat must be moved almost all the way forward for a rear facing child seat to fit ! Go ahead, bring your child's seat and try it. The heated steering wheel. Most new cars don't heat the entire wheel. Other cars have the top and bottom of the steering wheel as plastic. That stays cold in the winter, the leather is not as bad. That feature comes with "cold weather package". If you have a hitch installed (flat one too) and have something on it. The backup warning will "Stop" your car. Need to turn that off towing or flat hitch with material on it. The GPS is not bad, but the 3.0 Premium with "coud" download MUST have a cell connection to find anything. You get that for 3 years, then need to pay $130 + dealer install for 2 more years. Not sure what happens if you don't pay. The dealer did not know either. The "cloud" download is not accurate. Maps are still old. Took 9 months for a new overpass on major highway to show. WAZE showed it a week after it opened. A circle on a roadway was a suprise in Sept 2020, the map never showed it. I asked the GPS to find an Antique store, it took me to a Condo developement, "you have arrived". Google maps showed the Antique store. The interrior lights are dim, you can replace with LED. The trunk light is useless without LED replacement. The video shows the tank full. The 2019 and 2020 models will not fill all the way. A replacement tank is available (for free) as a resolution. EV mode. If the car is warm this button will keep your car engine from starting, most times for a short hop (moving your car, parking lot, 300 feet or so). Any hybrid will only turn on the engine when needed. In traffic, parking lots, going down a hill the car will go into EV mode by itself. I used that button 3 times in a year and a half. Hold feature... if you drive in heavy traffic you might use it. If you chip your windows a lot... you have a special windshield (for that lane assist) and then that system has to be reset once replaced. But this system is becoming very common and all the Auto Glass places know what to do anymore. The instruction manual... yes, 275 pages, you can also use it for self defense. Rule 1 with a hybrid, never run out of gas. When it says.... you need gas, get it. A hybrid will shut off the engine and car, period. A "scan tool" is needed to allow the engine to start even if you put gas in it. Your "low gas" will come on some 50 miles to empty, maybe 20 more miles in the tank.

However, the engine turn off once I tried to enter to the car, is there any other button that I need to click before entered, thanks
Hi Michael, If you turn on your car with the remote start and open the handle it will turn off the engine. That is how its suppose to be. The remote start feature is just for warming or cooling down the car before you get in.

@@sunitjoshi3573 Portland Oregon so USD of course. It's a 2021 XLE hybrid. Weather package so heated seats & all that plus cross bars & all weather floor liners. Just sold my 2008 Ford escape with 128k miles for $6,900 private party. Dealership offered me $3500 for it trade in.
Look at the VIN. If the first letter is J, that is Japan. Yet my Sonata hybrid was made in Japan and shipped whole to the US. Ford does the same for their hybrids. Even those Fords do 275K as taxies. I believe in 2021 you can get a panaromic roof and turning headlights from a Japan or Canadan model. That was not true the first two years, only one or the other.
The EV mode was more of a "cool" button. The computer will determine if EV is possible. Press the gas pedal more the "ever so slightly" and EV kicks off and the engine starts. If the engine is cold or cool, it will start no matter what the EV button says.
