I stayed in Swig on the 4th floor (guys floor) way back in 1985 September till June 1986, the only thing I see that remain the same are the faucet in the room and the exterior of the building...bring back lots of memories.. very proud to be a Bronco for life. heyy! i love ur vid. i just got excepted into Santa Clara with a generous scholarship, so I’m really considering it. my biggest concern is that from other vlogs i’ve seen, the school doesn’t really have a vibrant social life, I’m not a huge party person, but I would like a School with activities and fun student life. your Vlog honestly showed me that there is a vibrant student culture there. but from a current students perspective, Do you think Santa Clara offers that?
I do!! There’s a lot to do other than parties. There’s so many clubs which I definitely recommend getting involved in. There’s also the farmers market every weekend and there’s Greek life!
Ooo I think my favorite would have to be the campus. It’s just so gorgeous and it makes me happy. My least favorite thing would have to be the quarter system… it just takes a lot of getting used to and it’s so fast omg but it also feels super slow when you’re only halfway through the last quarter when everyone on semesters is getting out of school for the summer :(

I would say it’s both! There’s a super dry side if that’s what you’re into but there’s always parties every Wednesday Friday and Saturday if that’s what you like as well :) I swing back and forth between the two. Sometimes I’ll be out all night Friday and at a darty Saturday and then sometimes I’ll be in my room the whole weekend reading my books! It’s nice that there are so many options. The only downside is if you’re a guy you can’t really get into any parties unless they’re open which is rare. Girls can get into any party anytime :)

No keep asking questions I love answering them! I have a lot of friends in cal phi as well as tke so I think either is a good choice! Beware of both of their pledging processes tho😬 I’ve heard stories from both. Also I think you get what you put out, so if you’re really invested in your academics and professional goals you will find a way to have both a social and academic life! It’s all about balance!
The campus is absolutely stunning omg. It’s also a small campus so walking to class is not that far and most people skateboard anyways. Congrats on your acceptance!!! I’m BIOE so if you have any questions about the school of engineering I can try to answer those as well :))) I hope to see you in the fall!!!!

@@AetherCS2 almost all of my classes are in SCDI! Most stem classes are there and most labs. You will definitely have physics 32 there, I’m actually taking that class right now! It’s super conceptual so there’s not really any real numbers in the problems, it’s all about equations and deriving them from each other. If you like that kind of class you’ll love phys 32 haha!

My classes are pretty difficult but I’m Bioengineering so it’s kind of expected. My roommate is bio and she loves it so I think you’ll be fine!!!!
