Couple things I want to say:
1. I did skip the song featuring Kanye West because filming this in 2023, I did not feel comfortable including a feature from him at this time.
2. I’ve held off a long time making this video out of respect to the victims of the Astroworld festival. Although I am listening to and experiencing this album, it does not take away the pain and loss many people have experienced at his festival.
That was very humble of you, respect
valid asf
I miss the old Kanye
@@xzphyxia straight from the ‘go Kanye
Otherwise, thank you for reminding me this album, the best album of Travis Scott after "owl pharaoh".
♡ Oh My Dis Side ♡
Legendary album. Still mindblowing in 2023 Aged like fine wine
Yeah, I think having first heard this when it first dropped in 2015 really changes how you feel about it. I had never heard ANYHTING like this before. Maria, I'm drunk blew my mind and it's still in the rotation to this day. Really a visionary album, still timeless because there still isn't much that really sounds like this.
Best trap album OAT.
Fight me

Nothing compares the love i have for María I’m Drunk
best travis song to come out to this day
The og version is 100 times better believe me believe me
getz/gilberto pfp??
its just best Travis song from best modern daay rap era....when everyone was finding their own sound
Song is so good to this day
Hearing Maria I’m Drunk for the first time… omg Young Thug was a different breed in 2015
hearing the original version with travis's extra verse was even better for the first time lol, great song still mad they took off that verse
this album changed and saved my life, from the moment I heard Rodeo, I knew that Travis was my artist, to this day I only live for him, unfortunately I suffer from depression, and I usually have low self-esteem and anxiety, whenever I this happens, Travis is the only person who can motivate you not to give up, I will always be grateful to him.
We all know that he is not characterized by having the best bars and lyrics, but he uses his voice as an instrument and that makes him special.
thanks Travis, I really needed to say it, and a very good reaction, I hope you continue to react to him, greetings 🤎
real
real
The dick riding is crazy
Living for someone else is not the way to go.
Only living for him is crazy
This is easily my favorite album of all time
Me too
Fr it’s so good
Set a lower bar why don't you lmao. This is your favorite album? What? Out of 2 I'm hoping...
Should not throw auto-tune artists in those discussions. Laziness.
@@alec57 You realize that someones favorite album is entirely based on their preferences and opinions? YOU think Travis Scott is just a lazy auto-tun artist. While I disagree, you are totally fine to think that. However, you do not need to be an asshole about it. Imagine I talk shit about your favorite music...
@@alec57 what are you going through all the comments hating on rodeo for 🤣
Seeing someone react to 90210 for the first time is always entertaining. Wish I could re listen to this album for the first time again so bad
*IMHO, this is Travis’s best album* he had that drive in him to make every track special… And after hearing “Utopia” is going to be experimental - I’m so gassed to hear it.
Source? When did he say Utopia is going to be experimental?
@@rodney7277 the whole time we've known this
@@rodney7277 He said it in a magazine interview like 2 years ago
Same here, i'm so hyped to hear a new "experimental" travis album (even though all his albums have been pretty experimental)
@@rodney7277just listen to lost forever. That song alone gives us a clear indication of where the album is going which im ngl sounds amazing.
Your face trying to grasp Young Thug's alien moans @25:55 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
That smirk when Oh My Dis Side started playing lol. Love it. Nice vid
Definitely, a classic album within the hip/hop genre. Best trap album to this day.
the production on this album is incredible
Still sounds like it's from the future
The best part about this album, and Travis as an artist, is everyone has their own unique favorite song . There isn't just a few standout hits like most other artists, the whole album is gold.
Makes me so happy watching people react to timeless music for the first time every Travis project is a classic for me I still play them regularly years later
pray 4 love sounds like it came straight out of beauty behind the madness
Rodeo - is the foundation sound of Travis Scott's style. The album is about his zeal for popularity. Drink party, drugs, in general roughly speaking - the rockstar lifestyle.
Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight - album after he became more famous from the rodeo era. About how his creative ideas got stuck in a trap due to unforeseen circumstances, and of course also about rockstar life.
ASTROWORLD - It's a homecoming from the rockstar lifestyle with a world star title in Houston. The album is projected from his childhood associated with an amusement park called ASTROWORLD. Unfortunately it was demolished while he was young. It upset him to such an extent that he recorded an entire album in honor of the amusement park.
UTOPIA - is his next album which is still unreleased since astro and will be released this year. The album abstractly takes you to a kind of utopian state. An album about his fantasy of an ideal society that would exist if it were not for the dystopia in which we now live. About the equality of humanity who do not want anything from each other except just to see each other happy. About the general understanding of hatred that rages in our time. This album is accompanied with new sounds and a psychedelic sound that gives a sense of a utopian and dystopian feeling. I think it's the best album he's ever made, and kind of a whole piece with a very big concept.
also bittsm was meant to be a mixtape as travis stated astroworld was a direct sequel to rodeo
How you writing all this about utopia when it ain’t even out yet
@@hughmangold9491weirdo rap fans that judge everyone probably
Days before rodeo?!?!?!
greatest trap album of all time. the production was years ahead of its time. loved your reaction you should do astroworld next! definitely on the same level as this album in terms of storytelling and production
Nah, Culture is the best trap album of all time. There's like 3 fire tracks out of 10+ on this lol. Styles all over the place. Isn't even all trap.
@@alec57 everyone has their own opinion i respect it bro. culture is one of my favorites too. but the way rodeo introduced a new sound to trap is why it ranks so high in my books.
@@alec57 90210 is better then that entire album lol
@@bycesvr Ignore this dweeb bro, Culture is no where near the legendary status that Rodeo has managed to achieve.
@@rogue9230 talking out ur ass
Love how much you loved Impossible!! So underrated and is one of the most atmospheric and sinister songs I’ve ever heard
Best song on the album imo
Thank you! Haven’t seen the reaction but appreciate you taking your time to listen to this
this is one of my favorite albums and seeing someone react to it for the first time is so cool
Omg I’ve been waiting so long for you to do this :)
I heard “Maria. I’m drunk” when I was 20 in late 2015.. going thru a bad heartbreak… it’s nostalgic, but sad because I will always think of that time when I hear this song 😮💨🥹
Big respect for doing this album. One of my favourites ever!
It really is one of those albums you need to just completely immerse yourself in and melt into the soundscapes. I think you'll enjoy Astroworld more based on your comments on this one :)
This page underrated. Not only is Shelby pretty as hell she also likes and digs deep in all types of music from every era and genre
Always a joy to re listen to this masterpiece
I love how much you enjoy The Weeknd's voice. He's my favorite artist and seeing your cute smile when you react to his voice is just, heart warming. Pray for love is my favorite song on this album, ofcourse.
When you listen to trap lyrics having the lyrics up is the worst way to listen 😭 just vibe out
I like you tho keep grinding
Exactly, reading the lyrics is a distraction more than anything
Travis set the bar so high with Rodeo, it still amaze me to this day to see that it came out 7 years ago.
A modern masterpiece
Timeless classic
🤣
@@alec57 salty asf replying to everyone 😂💀
@@Jonah18761 He going crazy with the replies lmao
Born and raised in Htown, been listening to Trav for a decade now. Undoubtedly one of the most influential and amazing albums in hip-hop. This is timeless
it’s amazing how when you just listen to the songs, they all sound so complex, but when you break down the track, the beats are actually fairly simple, the mixing and the way travis uses his voice to change the song is what separates himself from so many others in my opinion. he produces on all of his songs as well so🤷♂️
OHHHHH SHIT. SHES FINALLY ON RODEO
classic album, too bad you didn't get to listen to never catch me, it's a bonus track only present on the deluxe version but it's so good, very overlooked song
One of the albums that changed/saved my life.
Classic album😩but I’m not gonna lie birds in the trap is my favorite project from Travis when I came out of was going through a rough patch and felt like it was one of the best early birthday presents I’ve received and I remember listening to it on my way home from playing soccer until 11 pm to keep my mind off things. At night cold weather fit that project perfectly.
Éste álbum encaja perfecto en cualquier situación
Travis is a producer first, he’s very versatile. Experimental and flexible in so many aspects. From the beat build ups , transitions, the effects on his vocals are carefully selected in a particular way. He’s only artist that can make beat switch ups feel so seemless. Rodeo changed the sound forever. Utopia is a part 2 to this album.
Amazing reacrion from Mexico ❤😊
ngl when shelby started just straight up vibin to future i started geekin, it dont matter who u are what you do, future just makes you vibe lmao
Hey Shelby, I really love your stuff!!! Love this video too!!! I really think you would like 21 Savages album
I am > I was, if you haven’t reviewed it already. Keep up the great stuff!!! 💯👏🏽
HOW DID I MISS THIS
Dude how do you not get goosebumps this is such good music. You would love Days Before Rodeo react to that!!
Travis’s old music is amazing I wish I was you rn so I could listen to all of it for the first time. React to his whole disc it would blow your channel up ong
I wish drugs you should try it was on this album. That and Dont play. Backyard and mamacita would also sound good on here.
Idc if I’m 80. I’ll always play this album. 🔥
You have to do Birds in the Trap and Astroworld now. His next album is supposedly dropping this summer
Maria I’m Drunk, Impossible, Pray 4 Love, 90210, Antidote, so many classics on this album
Definitely one of the best debut albums of all time, if not the best.
This album is timeless. My favorite album of all time!
🤡
@@alec57 jealous?
Travis is a lot more experimental and out there and interesting on his own stuff you definitely have to listen to astroworld. To me travis is equivalent to a the weeknd in his own way
One of my favourite albums of all time
This album changed my life
nightcrawler is my personal favorite travis song. I think the sound he achieved on that track is unmatched
THE greatest trap album of all time
Culture > this. It's not even really trap, let's be real. It's R&B mixed with Hip-Hop. Nobody bumps Travis Scott while they're cooking up dope in a trap house lmao. Bumping Antidote while mixing or selling, right lol.
@@alec57 sorry i offended your gangster lifestyle og 😂 Culture is a modern day classic, DS2 is, Rodeo is idc they are all great
@@alec57 ur name alec dont care
@@alec57 so you gotta be cooking up dope in a trap house for the music to be good? Im honestly glad its not associated lmao
@@TheShiftyBender Never said that. I'm saying it's not actually Trap. It's just R&B mixed with Hip-Hop which is not actual Trap music. It just shares the electronic sounds of the genre. But would we classify 808's And Heartbreak as Trap just because it's electronic? Nah.
Trap was around since the 90's and it was music about selling drugs and shit in trap houses. Not about love like half the songs on here are.
So when people classify it as that, it's kinda funny. Because it really has almost no themes of drug dealing or that real grime that comes with true trap.
It's like a sub-genre of a sub-genre at this point. It's like calling Kendrick horror-core rap because he uses a dark haunting sample on a beat like Silent Hill or makes an album with dark themes.
TOP TIER ALBUM
fuccckkkkkk yeahhhhhhh keeep doing theseeee, travis a legend, do birds in the trap sing by mcknight as well issssaaa vibe
Nooo why didn’t you do the expanded edition ok alright is perfect 🥺🥺🥺🥺
You gotta do his protege don toliver his voice is just so powerful his best album is heaven or hell
Greatest album of all time
You good. 90210 got me into Travis too🌵🤎
She said she liked the production on this, wait till she hears ASTROWORLD
Rodeo's production is significantly more interesting and unique
Lol Astro doesn’t come close

Legendary Album Travis Best Album
Also, there is an extended version with two more songs, I strongly suggest you check it out. Ok Alright is a two part masterpiece
The production of this album was something else .

ofc travis sings a lot he's inspirations is the melodic artists: kid cudi - coldplay - kanye west - tame impala
Jb's verse in maria is amazing
Agreed!
you cant forget birds in the trap, that is a MASTERPIECE other than astroworld
I believe imo still his best work.
Hey, just curious... were you uncomfortable on 90210 when he was mentioning "she's a pron star in the Valley"? Coz that look on your face was priceless
Why would she be that. It's just Hella random
