Borla is an AWESOME American Company!! I have the Borla System on my Grand Cherokee and ATAK on my Mustang GT Convertible. Beats out all the other systems in sound, performance, appearance and warranty. The Borla Exhaust on my Grand Cherokee succumbed to 15 years of harsh Chicago winters and ate through the exit pipe. I called Borla for a warranty claim and they sent a new exhaust according to their 1 million! Thanks Borla!
When does the C8 exhaust get here. If it is priced close to the C7 atak exhaust then it be a huge hit. My C8 should be here by the end of May. Look forward to your offering. Some C8 exhaust options are topping out at 5k which is insane. Hopefully your production scale would make for a more viable exhaust option.
As someone who has done exhausts, you cannot capture it in a video which sucks. The louder it is the more the microphone tries to drowned it out. I've read on forums many times that the Atak is much much louder than the S-Type. I'd like to hear both in person with the NPP valves open and closed.

It took me several months to get mine even after making several phone calls to both Borla and Summit Racing whom I ordered it from. Didnt even get the Borla stickers or a Borla ballcap! Was highly disappointed. Good luck to you!

Tried to order a Borla exhaust for my C7....six months and many excuses later no exhaust...just my money back, complete waste of time. David Borla told me he would contact me to resolve the issue...still waiting.
Hi. Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm glad you got your money back. I'm not exactly sure what happened in your particular case, but we did stop production on the C7 systems for a while because we had issues with the valves. We now have a new valve design that we are confident will not have any problems and have started production again.

Do not buy a atak I bought one thinking it would be loud and badass, there was barely any change in sound the only difference was the startup. Driving this was very quit. Not a good exhaust system.

2016 Z06 recently installed the Borla ATAK #11903 with the Borla X-Pipe #11908 Does your 2015 Z06 test vehicle also have the X-Pipe? Sounds awesome!

Both the S-Type and the ATAK system in the video are Axle-Back systems which use the stock X-Pipe.
