Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former proclaim Christ out of rivalry, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice (Philippians 1:15-18) Let Christ be proclaimed. Amen.

If you think atheism is a doctrine or a worldview, you simply don't understand what it is like not to have a stamp collection as a hobby.
You cannot leave atheism, you either believe in a deity or you do not.

It's worth noting, but something doesn't have to be a doctrine or worldview in order to leave it.

@@courageousmelon5654 in one sense at least, the answer is obvious - you leave “non stamp collecting” by collecting stamps, and you leave atheism by adopting a theistic position or worldview.

I have one question for Ayaan: Do you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead? Because Christians do. More and more it's atheists who have to remind Christians what they believe because their religion is devolving into politics.

Just a heads up: watch the judgment. We can certainly be happy when anyone moves closer to Christ. If one suspects impure motives, (a) Who has pure motives? Jesus forgives and loves us even though we only turn to Him when all else has failed; and (b) pray for her just as we need to be prayed for.
Christians judging and attacking each other in public is just another example of how we've squandered this Invaluable Treasure.

@@whomever21 she said atheism is civilizationaly weak which is demonstrably true. She's not the only former atheist arriving at that conclusion. Lower birth rates, comunities that last half as long and even less likely among elite athletes who are disproportionately more religious. Through empirical evidence in one's own life you can see that faith increases the competitiveness of a person. And that's exactly what she said. To this day no atheist civilization has lasted more than 100 years and full on atheist societies tend to be tyranical like China or North Korea. While the Christian monarchies of Europe (even if only nominally Christian these days) and the USA are where freedom really is. While china is trying to build a digital tech god that judges everybody from the digital cloud and gives you a social credit score. That's what Ayaan noticed.
