Thank you so much Ranveer for featuring Army personnel on the smartest and best podcast ever! It really means a lot and it helps me to gain so much knowledge as I want to join The Indian Army.
Col Kris, Hats off to you. You were not at behind the scenes, but you were serving the injured and get them back to safe place, which is more sacrificing work than anything else. I always used to wonder, in movies who lift the injured and take, i got the answer. Again Hats off sir.

This was a wonderful podcast throwing light on other part of things that had happened in the Kargil war . My request to Ranveer bhai is please bring a podcast with Col Lalit Rai.
Love your Podcasts Ranveer! Salute to all the bravehearts of the Indian Armed Forces for putting their lives on the line for us. Please bring more guests from the Armed and Special Forces to your podcast. It's amazing to listen to the real stories of war and combat.
Colonel and Ranveer it’s a very good. Video. I congratulate and compliment our Colonel, his men and the valiant army who fought in Kargil. They fought in most tiring situations. Kindly bear with me for giving me a short background of mine. My late father was a WW 2 veteran - a Major in British 8th Army. He was in Middle East including El-Alamein throughout the war in the worst phase for the British and also the winning Phase. He regaled me with war time stories and experiences for years, and I became a military buff missing NDA If I remember 32nd. Course. I was born before independence. Leave it. Our army fought magnificently, but from gathering military intelligence point of view it was worse in many ways. When the heights of Kargil was evacuated during winter the military intelligence should have paid some rations Rs 100 per each native Sheppard say, a 100 of them, to take their sheep up and spy on what’s happening at least once in a month. Furthermore, you said there were no maps then who prevented the higher ups from sending our patrols on our side to map the terrain. Are they sleeping. It’s stupidity to rely on tourist maps - improvisation notwithstanding. Who is responsible for storing our ammunition in the open which got blown up. In someways I am reminded of Kargil War the Battle of Mount Cassino in WW 2. Hundreds of men were wasted.
Have become addicted to your english and hindi both channels... You cover all aspects of life. Very very informative and interesting at the same time... God bless... Keep growing... 🥰
Can I tell you something very honestly..Ranveer I hope you read this I've followed your journey so closely now, that when you say your podcasts give you answers that you need, in the past few episodes I have been able to make out the exact answers and the questions you had for yourself being answered in those exact moments! like literally! Be it this podcast especially the instance when you ask Colonel about what goes on in his head after he had been victorious [the next mission always] or be it podcast with Daaji wherehe told you about Rohit Sharma's strength is his ability to pause and you went on a vacation after that!
This is the first time I am commenting on a podcast. Just wanted to put out there that it is very perspective-changing to watch this video. It was interesting to know the beginning of the Kargil War, unlike to what it is shown in movies. Thank you so much for creating such videos and acknowledging that most of the viewers are amateurs. I hope the time doesn't come that I need to know these things and opinions and strategies, but this indeed is really good content.
Good Job As Always... Ranveerbhai... And First of All Jai Hind Col. SRI Sir... During Whole Conversation Sri Sir is constantly smiling and laughing even describing the whole story includes dangers of life during war... What A Humble attitude of an Army Officer... Salute Sri Sir... That's the basic nurture of our All Forces to tackle all the critical situation at ease without any show off... Truly A Brave but Sensible Soldiers... JAI HIND... Wow! I can't express whole feelings that is going in my mind after this podcast ended, but I literally belief there is much in the life of soldier than just shown in movies or written in books. The lifestyle the way of living all those sacrifices in forms of food, materialistic things or family for that matter is just not all that which is experienced by an Army Men there are lot more. Only those who lives that LIFE .... I from my deep Heart salute You 💕. Thank You Ranveer for putting forward some little stories and experiences of an Army Man. Love You Brother.♡
As long as you are on the topic of unspoken stories of the kargil war, you should interview Col Lalit Rai who commanded the 1/11 Gorkha Rifles in the Batalik Sector. He also personally led the unit in the epic battle of Khalubar. Looking forward to that podcast. Also please try to get Col Sonam Wangchuk. Both of their stories should be heard by everyone.
Great Episode Sir as always. After watching your videos they inspire me everyday to learn and experience new things in life .Thank you sir for this great work 👍
Amazing Sir. We are truly amazed at the hard hitting realities you faced and the way you people handled them. We are reminded of the great heroes of the past whom we consider as Gods today. A warrior who synchronously takes care of the humane side becomes God, perhaps. On the other hand are people like me who truly look up to those like you for guidance. And when that is taken care of, we give ourselves totally to the cause of the nation, which is actually worshipping the deities we believe in. Our social hierarchy was so set , by our ancestors, that each person has something to deliver, as he is privileged with.
In this episode, Col K Srinivasan told us that there should not be any kind og movies on their Batalion. I beg to differ. Though they worked in hindsight as a supporting role during the Kargil War, but it is only because of people like them that the War could be won. So, there stories must be told in one way or other. And THANK YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE TEAM FOR THAT. Hats off to Col Srinivasan and Team.
The insights of Indian Army are spine chilling. What these bollywoodians show is so dramatic. Kudos and salute to our Army, Navy and Airforce personnel. Jai Hind.
Congratulations to you on having such veterans on the podcast and I must say this, I could feel every moment by major vivek, cpt raghu . Doing great job , keep it up.
