📝 I used a must do, may day list this past year and it was a GAME CHANGER. For me, rotating the whole class takes more time and is more distracting than a few students moving around at a time to gather materials for must do/may dos. It also supports both my early finishers and students who need more time to complete activities. I put the week's differentiated must dos in individual student center folders (paper activities). The may dos tend to really motivate students to work at a good pace while focusing on quality work.

I think for math, I’m definitely doing something different. I like to do fact fluency games as a center but may have to rethink it. It would get too loud.
I love doing must do/may do - it really makes planning so much easier. You could totally do fact fluency games as may do or even add to your must do if you are really needed students to practice.

We do use a whole lot of apps because my students have Chromebooks. We use Epic and Read Theory regularly. I use a variety of resources for small group depending on what my students need. I like Jennifer Findley and The Stellar Teacher Company on TPT.
