    great work! curious on the welder details- do you use 0.030 wire, or 0.025 wire? and where do you like to ground your welder to? seems like it's a quality welder and I unfortunatelyhave a cheap Harbor Freight MIG

    you might consider using Raptor bed liner inside and underneath ... I'm going to On mine

    • @HagersAcres
      @HagersAcres  Год назад

      I love using raptor liner, I was going to use that but with carpet going over top of it I wasn't too worried about the top being really tough, I plan on doing that to the underside

    Good thing Ohio doesn't care what you put on the road. If it starts and runs, you can drive it in Ohio without fear of being stopped. You may fall through the floor, but hey that's what plywood is for, covering those holes.

    Man I know absolutely nothing about welding except in vocational school we took the little piece of copper and welded it to the steel what is this style Meg weld and can you use a little handheld portable welder ? If not bondo and sheet metal screws it is for me then lol u make this look easy

    • @HagersAcres
      @HagersAcres  Год назад +1

      I'm using a Lincoln Mig welder here, mig welding is probably the easiest style of welding to learn and is super useful for all types of different work. I would definately take the chance to learn a little about it if possible!

    well thats what the gmc jimmy and chevy blazer in the square body 73-87 have in common with the broncos lol the rust and rot in the lower A Pillars, B Pillar and back hump behind the seats due to the rear fiber glass removable tops lol

    A friend called me to help him with some patch panels on his 84 f150 that began with a 75 percent rocker and floor delete cab corners and inner fenders fortunately I knew where there was another one with an extended cab which worked out well it had new inner fenders and the box was already a short bed on the long frame 6 bolts front n rear and zero welding swopped the cab out and save him better than 6 grand in the long haul.but seriously the cab only had about 26 to 30 inches of metal over the frame rails.

      Holy crap thats nuts! At least you were able to use a donor truck to save some hassle, definitely not fun doing all those repairs. Very tedious work

    What years are parts inter changeable with an 86. And can you use f150 or 250 parts on broncos.

    Thanks for sharing. I just picked up a 95 bronco with some of that side rust. it's nice to see how you fixed it. Is the rust in Ohio due to using salt on the roads? We have rust issues in Juneau AK due to the ocean.

    • @HagersAcres
      @HagersAcres  2 года назад

      Absolutely, Ohio uses a ton of salt on the roads here and it just eats away vehicles thats the main cause
