why is there 6 wires from primary transmission ?...and how is 6 wires transformed to 3 wires in second step up transformer ?

Because step up transformer has transform it and its sending it into step down transformer which carries only three live lines before finally reaching distribution transformer that has three live wires and neutral, which is ready for domestic use .
