According to Aboriginal beliefs, Spirits populated the Earth during its creation, long before the appearance of Humans.
They would have created the natural elements of the world, and would have been the Great Ancestors of all forms of life.
This “Dream Time”, the foundation of their religion, is the key to their spirituality.
Man belongs to the earth, not the other way around.
And in fact, for millennia, the Aborigines, anxious not to disturb the established order, were exemplary environmentalists.
Ignoring the notion of profit, but wisely taking advantage of the benefits of nourishing earth, they lived in total harmony with nature, in true destitution.
