Hey I gotta 04 379 with a 10spd Meritor and I installed a extension on my shifter. I cut the wires on shifter and extended them too now I only have high gears. I match the wires
We’re you have to put it in 6 before you changed it out ? I think I’m having the same problem but I’m not sure . It goes into 6 ,7 , etc just doesn’t go anywhere

The only explanation I can guess is your lines are crossed that or your splitter might be stuck
How many pips from the noble to the gearbox is there a small one down on backend
Mine grinds when switching from high to low you think that could be the issue too

Ebay just type slave valve with part number and it should pop up
What was your transmission doing when going from low to high
The range selector would be delayed from switching over to 6th gear
