എൻ്റെ ഒരു മൂന്നാർ യാത്രയിലാണ് ...homestay പ്രണയം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. പ്രഫുൽ എന്ന ഒറ്റ വ്യക്തിയുടെ പ്രോപ്പർട്ടി താമസിച്ചു എനിക്കും കുടുബത്തിനും കിട്ടിയ experience ഇന്നും എവിടെ പോയാലും അവിടെ കിട്ടാവുന്ന Homestay ആണ് prefer ചെയുന്നത് ..
എന്നാൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ച പാലക്കാട് പോയപ്പോൾ FoodNTravel എബിൻ ബ്രോ പോയ ഒരു homestay പോയി ...സെരിക്കും ഒരു രാത്രി ഭക്ഷണം പോലും കഴിക്കാതെ എങ്ങനെ എങ്കിലും നേരം വെളുത്തു അവിടുന്നു രക്ഷ പെട്ടാൽ ഭാഗ്യം എന്ന പോലെ ആയി പോയി.
അതുകൊണ്ടു ഹോംസ്റ്റേയ്സ്‌ പരിചയപെടുത്തുബോൾ ചില സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ളത് ഒഴുവാക്കുകയോ .. ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഉണ്ടായപോലത്തെ അനുഭവങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകുബോൾ അത് genuine ആണോ എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കി മറ്റൊരു വിഡിയോയിൽ കൂടി ആ പ്രോപ്പർട്ടി ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള അവസ്ഥ പങ്കുവെക്കുന്നത് ഒരു responsive youtuber ചെയ്യണ്ടത് ആണ് ..practically കുറച്ചു പ്രയാസം ആണെകിലും ചില സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ചെയ്യണം കാരണം അവർ രാത്രിയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകിയ ആഹാരം പോലും കഴിക്കാൻ ഇൻസെക്യൂരിറ്റൈനെസ്സ് തോന്നി എന്ന് പറയുബോൾ കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ കിടപ്പ് മാനസിലാകുമലോ

If u haven't gone to wagah border today, i would like to share some info about the place as I was there in July. The queue starts very early. They allow you in by 3.30pm/4.00 pm. The queue is very long( separate for males and females)The stadium can seat around 50,000 people. Show starts only around 6.30 to 7 pm and gets over by 7.30 pm approx. You have to be prepared with food for Rishi for about 4 to
5 hours. You can buy popcorn etc inside. Coming out of stadium is also a time consuming task with a baby and senior people. Too many people hurrying to get out. Also they don't allow big bags. We saw people being sent back to parking lot (quite far away from the gate) to leave their bags. Maybe they will, if with a baby. Heard you get passes online though I don't know for how much. Entry is free otherwise. With those passes you don't need to stand in queue and I think you get to seat nearer to BSF border (not sure though about second point). But the feeling is AWESOME once the show starts. We feel proud we are of this country.
Hope this information is useful for others if Sujith and family has already left for Atari Wagah border.

Tapovan ,in Sidhabari,samadhi of Chinmayanandaji,,,a must visit for us Keralites..immense peace and happiness place..Then monasteries like Norbyulinka,,,,a beautiful Tibetan heritage,, Gyuto,,,where they have schools ,living quarters for the very young kids enrolled as lamas..,The St John church in the Wilderness etc. I visited in 2016.July which is pleasant weather too.Dharamshala has so much to offer but you need to travel down to the valleys ,from Macleoganj,,to enjoy them..

Hi Sujith , Sweta very happy that you people are exploring Amritsar , it's a nice place with lots of history , don't forget to visit 'Partition Museum' the latest must visit place there, it's within the Golden temple - Jalianwala Bagh complex, you should have some time to spend there to know the actual experience of people affected by partition
For food exploration you can go to Makhan fish & chicken corner , near Madaan hospital , Makhan chowk, very famous for Amritsari fish & chicken and don't forget to visit 'Sarhad' restaurant very near to Wagha border , more than the food you will get a different experience there and if possible take your parents to the langar at Golden temple not for the sake of food but it's an unique opportunity , don't forget to show the bus corridor system at Amritsar
