Love it! This is what it's all about, radio experimentation. Love the AM. I'll remember your call sign and hopefully catch you on 10 AM soon. Thanks for sharing sir.
That's great!! I used to have a "name brand" PLL based CB back in the day that was easily modified. Had a little 3 position switch that would add 80 "channels" to the radio. No crystal swaps, so easy.. Gonna check ebay before I reveal the brand.. lol
I once used the New York 10m FM repeater to talk to another Scottish station, on the other side of the country in Edinburgh. This was the last solar cycle.
10m is really picking up. I had a great 1/2hr QSO with a ham in Chicago last weekend using my little USDX with 3watts. The next day I made a FM simplex to Texas with 10 watts on an old Azden rig. I’m in British Columbia Canada.
Good Job Bill! I have your Soldersmoke book. Thanks to you I am a member of G-QRP and enjoy Sprat and I ordered all the books from them.
Thanks Bill, great videos as always.

I will try to listen into those frequencies (AM) - 29005. This is cool. I have several vintage CB radios... perhaps I should modify one.
