Lately I've been switching around between a Seiko 5 and Boldr venture. The venture is just the right size for how I wear it on my wrist, and with this being a field style watch, it's nicely readable and just the right size at 38 mm. In my opinion the only flaw is that it doesn't have date, but it having a sweeping second-hand despite being quartz is pretty cool so I guess that makes up for it. I don't really need date or day date, I just like it there but if I really need to know either I can look at my phone. My venture doesn't have a date window despite the movement having it, and it bothers me a little bit but not that much. I've definitely gotten used to it.
I have this watch. The VH31 movement is very accurate. I have measured it and it's only out 15 seconds per year. (Tested two movements). This watch is one of the best GG-W-113 watches at any price. I have a Hamilton khaki mechanical (bronze). The Hamilton is better in these ways: (hand-wind movement), better face proportions (smaller Arabics), better case proportions (thinner). However, this watch has better water resistance and the differences in movement, face proportions and case proportions may not be significant to you. I paid about $50 for my Militado and a Hamilton Khaki mechanical can be had for about $420. If you are really into the GG-W-113 the Hamilton is great and worth the money. Otherwise buy the Militado.
Thanks for the review. I have a similar wrist size to yours (16.5 cm), and I tend to avoid watches with Lug-to-Lug distances above 46mm. The 47.5mm on this watch just looks too big. Their ML08 and ML07 line have shorter L2L. Cheers
I have the same watch but with drilled lugs. I think, depending on who you order from, you may just get what they have in stock. Still with that said, it's a great watch considering you're getting a full stainless steel case, sapphire double domed glass, screw down crown and I think 100m of WR
was able to send it back as what I was told to receive was false and was a bit dissapointing but the specs and value proposition are still amazing don't get me wrong!
Theres a lot saying they dont have drilled lugs now...First big batch did...Ive the ML07 and thats got drilled lugs but i do have a Escapement time H0300 so could not see the point in buying this...although these come with sapphire my H0300 doesnt and also doesnt have drilled lugs... They maybe using Generic cases in which E.T. use as im sure there measurements are pretty the same... But dont qoute me on this...
Just purchased the same watch you reviewed, just subscribed to channel on basis of review!!
@boyalroyal thank you kind sir! I hope you enjoy your new watch!

Very nice bead blasted or Sand blasted case. Addiesdive and tandorio also have good field/military options. Neil from Adelaide
agreed sand blasted finishing is something I'm liking a lot!

Hi, which one is better Pagani design 1765 or Militado 05?
personally haven't had the 1765 pagani but I'd say pick the one you like the design of!

look like hamilton khaki
@@TypeRentong homage of it indeed
When are we going to get a 38mm Chinese field watch with a 44mm L2L? Those lugs are crazy. 😂
Main reason i don’t wear mine much is that lug to lug distance. I agree with you for real. It looks worse on his wrist than mine.
