It is not the "homage" of the Khaki Field, but of an other Hamilton. That was the Hamilton H3, which had the "H3" and a "☢" symbol on the dial, as it had some radioactive lume paint on the dial and hands. It was one of the standard issue watch for the US military starting from the early 60s into the early 80s. Anyway Militado just came out with three other variants: K1 mineral glass with cream dial, one-one black and cream dial with sapphire glass. Just improving, I like their way of business.
2:48 NO, NO, NEVER!!! Never ever use date or day or any other idiotic function on a field or GADA watch! That asymmetric layout totally ruins the whole harmony of the watch! I never ever buy even a watch with no date dial but having a date movement - causing the so called ghost date phenomena which is disgusting! I even dislike small second hands, very rare exception are the very old style watches. But that is the only one exception different from the classic three hands on the same axis layout and nothing else. Huge thanks for Seiko for the creation of the great VH31, and that this movement is a true no date movement. They shell never ever change that movement, that is great as it is.
4:05 Do not mixed the ML07 with the ML05. Totally different models. The ML05 is a Khaki Field homage, the ML07 is a H3 homage. Like you would say that a Rolex Explorer is a version of the Submariner just because both are Rolex. There was an ML02 - sadly discontinued - which was the smaller forerunner of the ML05 (36mm vs 38mm), but basically the same style watch. Those two were related. Not even the ML08 related to the ML05, as the lug to lug size is very different, 3mm shorter all together. Which is a critical point for people with smaller wrists. A seemingly small difference actually makes a huge difference in real life, that's why great to see Militado makes so many models looks the same from a distance, but in a closer look you will find the difference and the right model for yourself.
I don't understand a thing: why is it a problem, if a watch is totally, completely sterile? When there is not a single branding on it? Are you buying a watch for yourself (or as a gift to someone) or for the greater public? I don't give even a rotten fig if others don't recognize what kind of watch I'm wearing. I like it and that is the case nothing else matters. When you purchase your watch you know exactly what you are buying if you are a conscious buyer, so no need to check it later to be sure what have you bought. And even if you are buying it as a gift, you have the whole caseback for engraving something even longer. This no branding is just a total win-win situation in my book.
8:25 Actually 4 versions, 2 kind of glasses and 2 kind of dial colors. The cream dial is an absolutely cool vintage looking one, it will be a real strap monster with cool vintage - even bund - straps.

This is probably the longest and most detailed comment on the channel :) Thanks for the clarified information and insights. I'm not a big expert, so thank you for the observations and corrections, most of which I agree with. I agree about the ML05 model, I didn't do a more detailed analysis. The cases are quite different, not just in size but also in shape. Others, however, are more subjective, so there's not much point in arguing. As for the complete lack of branding, I have my own opinion, especially about Chinese brands. Where all it takes is to print a different label with a name, and voila-a new brand. In the case of this watch, all the branding consists of a typical printed card with a name. So, with zero effort, I could have my 'brand' watches as Militato, Molitado, or Lgunato, or any other... Regarding the dial, I agree-branding isn't necessary, but at least they could have stamped the brand name with the model number on the back cover. By the way, in other Militado models, the backs are usually branded.
Once again, thank you for the detailed information and corrections.

Thanks for the support. BTW, I've restarted my channel 6 years ago, as the old one of 6500 subs was closed (still don't know why). And 3 years ago this channel has ~8000 subs.

On this watch it kinda works, but I generally don't like unbranded watches..makes them look generic and cheap (I know it sounds funny for an AE watch😅)..at least a logo would be nice

@@GedmisLaguna for your wrist, which is similar size to mine, maybe 38mm..but not sure..lug to lug is important here..37mm would be ideal😅
Also, nato adds a little bulk..for me, best for this watch would be a two piece canvas strap

No logo makes it more subtle. That's how true military watches should look - plane and simple. And no one gives a sh.. what brand you wear on your wrist anyway, because 90% of people never heard for any watch brand.

@@damyr that's why I said it works on this watch..but for me brand name or logo on the dial just looks better than sterile and give the watch some personality..no matter if it's a major or AE brand
