You must be some kind of genius when it comes to carpentry. You have missed your calling. This is amazing. Your shoes look like you are a tech. geek. This is not an insult. Just an observation. Thanks for the great video. I think your multimedia/graphic talents assisted with this. Again. Excellent.
Here on RUclips I saw a brand new Mansion for $1.7 million. One of the room closets had a cheap white clothing rack that can be bought at Walmart. For that price I thought the builders did a really pathetic job. This video of DIY closet organizer shows an excellent example of what can be and should be done. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 for this video.
that is amazing. never thought using steel pipe before in this application but it really fits. I also liked how you not-so-purposely matched the stain to your floors. i also lime the orientation of your shirts. nice job and keep being awesome.
This is really great. A little tip. Take some wax paper and rub it on your hanger supports. It'll help the hangers slide easier and get rid of the awful screeching noise.
Cabinets look lux, good job. I would've made shoe compartments lower in height. And made shirt and jacket compartments sideways so you can see them all easily.
I am so impressed with this design......... I am so ready to watch part 2.... I love the direction you chose to hang the clothing, it gives a much neater look. I have issues seeing varying sleeve lengths in my closet so this orientation would work well for me. Renovation seriously on the mind now! :)
I enjoy your attnetion to detail-- the space for the outlet....Love the drawers for belts ties and 😎 and the use of piping. Found myself in that aisle of the fixit store because of you lol...keep up the vids-- they're very inspiring!
Really nice job and I'm definitely going to work up something similar for our closet. Only thing I may do different is that your spaces for shoes seem like wasted space. I'll probably reduce the size of the boxes in order to have more boxes for more shoes. Great job!
Awesome video and the work is very impressive - I going to do this for my wife given I have a few skills with woodworking - But I'm going to watch a few more videos - LOL - Great work again and job well done -
Nice job! I'm hoping to start mine in a month. We have an odd shapped closet with angled ceiling that starts about 5 feet up from the floor so I'm still trying ot figure out what to do with our. I'm pretty sure I'll be using a nicer grade birch plywood and walnut for the face.
I'm old, tired, and female, but I took out wall between little bedroom and my bath and built my own closet. If I can do it you can do it. Also Lowe's has the wood already drilled and painted in their closet area if you want to do a faster job. Go for it!
Corey, your commitments to your personal passions are inspiring. I wish there were some means THAT could reach people too. Craftspeople and artisans see too little opportunity for themselves to chase those dreams. I hope you much success. I admire you materializing your passion and creativity. How are the projects with the leather work's going?
love your work, in hindsight I think it would have been better to stain after you assemble, but you can sand I suppose prior to assembly....anyhow, it worked and the end result was good
It's been like 2 years since I made my own. Different but insiperd by you. Never thanked you. So thank you :)
Love your attention to detail and uncomplicated methods. Thanks for showing us the ropes!
Nice build. The eyeglasses upholstery was a nice touch
I am absolutely INSPIRED by this video! I was really anxious to begin our walk in unit before I watched this and now I am PUMPED! Thank you!!!
Wow! I love that tool you used to help drill the holes.. that thing is awesome!
4 years later ., but that is a superb build Sir . One of the best 👍
As everyone else commented already this is amazing man. So clean and elegant. Love it. Just need all the tools and expertise to do this now.

+50hellkat2 thanks!
There's more money in tech, unfortunately. I'm a Graphic Designer/Programmer and also enjoy woodworking on the side, as a hobby.
Corey Rametta you should do a video where you list all the different equipment you use.
I am a sys admin... I also enjoy wood working on the side... I know two more friends who are alike.
You videos are bad ass, don't stop. I have to try making a closet like this.
+Made You Look GFX thanks!

You did an amazing job !!Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks Jay!
Corey Rametta How did you treat the panel edges? Did you just stain them?
+Alex F I used iron-on edging, then sanded and stained with the rest of the panel.

Did the plans update for the lower shelves so you can put both bins on and more easily? 4:16
Awesome step by step instructions I will now try
Wow, great work!
I'm not a big fan of particle wood but he had me with the sunglass holder, not using pocket holes and actually taping off where the glue went.
Amazing build I love the thought process I’m definitely taking ideas from this build for mine lol
Wow, nice craftsmanship man. The patience and know how you have is impressive.. too bad the skill level on this is a little higher then what I have
