Loved this one Krizzp. being a PUBG player myself with over 2000hours the game runs nice on newer hardware but i agree the specs do need updating. Keep em coming bud love the channel
i dont know about that my friend cuz my fps is always bouning around and the servers are absolut trash nowadays cuz so many Servers have constant Lags and the Cheaters holy Sh*t man. Im still playing it but sometimes it s****s hard with the Problems mentioned!
Also done over 2,000 hours in PUBG, and usually hovered around 60fps; so twiddled my 6900XT settings again recently, and now getting 380fps average now. 1440p but probably something to do with 1080p scaling or some fannyarse; and separately improved my GPU fanspeed to go from 80% max to 100% etc.
Man I loved this game so much when it came out, upgraded to a 1080Ti (I had the recommended 6600k CPU) and 1440p Acer Predator monitor so I could enjoy this game more. Sadly the cheaters are what finally made me quit... but it runs great on modern hardware
The main cause of stutter on the min spec is definitely the RAM considering the fact that on the recommended spec it can use a lot more than 8GB. Because not enough RAM, the system probably ended up accessing virtual/swap memory a lot and it can definitely increase the reported CPU utilization because how slow it is accessing virtual memory (even on SSD) vs RAM. As to why back then it ran smoothly or at least less terrible, besides maybe the update PUBG had over the years is probably because the current Windows 10 is using more RAM vs the older Windows 10 and obviously with 8GB or RAM they expect the user to not run anything in the background, including Afterburner. Based from what I see in the video, assuming it is actually RAM size problem, it is likely that the CPU and GPU is still enough to play PUBG at the lowest setting.
I love hearing you just talk about how different things are intensive in different games. And Idk why but when you say "Swapping" it just tickles my brain
This game was also a stuttery mess on my 4670k when it came out. Most stutters went away when I switched to ryzen 2700x and now runs flawless on the 5800x3d
I guess the extra 10GB is to fit the higher quality assets? also probably it would've done way better in minimum with that 4430 instead, specially given how it ran with the 6300, it was 100% a CPU problem, the card had quite more juice to be taken from
The FX processors are certainly capable of running this game well enough if there are enough cores. I tried playing this on a dual-socket Opteron 6386 SE which was the fastest Piledriver based Opteron they released. So, 32 Piledriver cores running around 3.2 GHz. The game didn't have these hitches and hangs even though the frame rate wasn't great overall.
I use AMD Ryzen 3 2200G and VGA RX 580 at first the lag was serious. But not now because I make everything at very low settings and 70/90. And most importantly, the game function has all the power disabled. It reduces processor performance. The start of the game was a bit strange but it went smoothly
The entire minimum requirements gameplay was on a CPU bottleneck! That is how you know how good PUBG is and is probably the reason the performance is worse
Well, to be perfectly honest in my humble opinion without being sentimental, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in distinct perspective and without condemning anyone's view and by trying to make it objectified and by considering each and everyone's valid opinion I honestly believe that I vividly don't have anything to say. Thank you.
i played this game for about 1,5k hours back in 2018 with the minimum specs and it wasn't that bad. But seen the fx struggling with this game gave me memories.
I got into this game last November and really enjoyed it. Then my friend told me to try Fortnite. Now I struggle to play this because your character controls feel so slow and clunky in comparison. I know it's more realistic, but even the running I find more cumbersome.
The explanation for name change is simple. PUBG becomes an entity itself already and no longer an acronym and they are trying to expand their universe hence it's now just called PUBG and not PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. They added the name Battlegrounds to distinguish it from their other and future titles like PUBG Black Budget extraction game, cancelled PUBG Cowboy MMO, PUBG New State mobile game, etc.
On very low settings, the game lags sometimes, despite having a 5800x3D and a 3080 ti. It also has a bug (many do) where your keyboard gets stuck and pulls to the left constantly. Some slow downs occur from time to time for no reason. PC works great in other games.
Fixed Same, 60-80fps, I had issues just like that with my Ryzen 5700X with an RX6900XT but fixed it last week somehow. Ah yes; Re-installed all latest Mo-bo Chipset drivers, AND THEN 'DDU' a Complete reinstall of the GPU Drivers in Safe mode (You have to do that AFTER). Reboot, get out of safe mode, Reboot again, and now 380fps after tinkering with GPU fan speeds (unlocked from the dam unbeknown AMD preset of 80% max, to 100%).
So close to my FX-6100 and I also thought U finally got r7 370 like mine, but not this time. But U getting closer and closer to my setup 😄Hope to see r7 370 one day.
The storage was different because you can download the hd quality or low quality in the menu, so for minimum i suppose you should download the low quality
For the games where the minimum requirements aren't enough, would you considering finding the "true" minimum like you did with Stray and Fall Guys? It's quite some extra work but those were quite helpful. I know for those it's easier since the minimum was more than enough but it would be great to see.
It would be nice to see the worst/cheapest new GPU available compared to old gems PC games of the PS3/360 era like RX 6400, RTX 3050 6Gb and Arc A310 on games like Bioshock 2, Skyrim, Mass effect 2, Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3/NV, Portal, Dragon age 2, Dark Souls Prepare to die edition, GTA V , CoD4 MW, crysis, etc...
