Happy birthday GTA 5!! 9 years ago today. What a technologically advanced masterpiece of a game it was in 2013
It still is :D
It’s so boring
@@Mohammad_C137 without mods yes
HAPPY BITHDAY GTA V
Wow didn't know that
This takes me back. I used to have a Q6600 at the time GTAV came out, but I only played on console then.
i first played it on a q6600 as well when it came out. ran surprisingly well

-The description
I'm always happy to watch ur videos :) As i'm working everyday with PC hardware its so good that someone just shows real stuff for people.
Was waiting for this I don't know for how many months....😊 Thanks Kryzzp
i know yo ass wasn't waiting months stop lyin
Good video: If you have this setup then I suggest: Bsel mod the Q6600 (it can be done with a tiny piece of electrical tape), it will get you to 3ghz, no voltage increase needed. The 9800gt will probably overclock another 100mhz on both the core and memory. Those tweaks would make a BIG difference in this game.
The tape mod is only really useful for systems with oem bioses.
%99 of s775 motherboards have the ability to change the fsb, and 333mhz (and above) is reachable without increasing voltage.
i love this dude so much, never stop uploading!
G'day Kryzzp,
I really love these Minimum & Recommended videos, especially for old games to see how the Specs hold up on W10 with such old components as the OS is much more busy than XP or W7.
I had that exactly setup until 1 year ago, Core i5 3470 + GTX 660 + 1x8GB 1600MHz. With mix of high/very high GTA V can still run at 60 FPS most of the times, but the CPU will cause a slightly bottleneck in some busy areas.
i have been waiting long for this graphic card to be tested 🔥🔥🔥🔥thank you for the benchmark❤️
Always fun to see your videos its really different from other reviewers you make benchmarks fun too kuddos to the best benchmarking channel🎉🎉
Bro this guy's reactions and gestures are so energetic and lively. Kryzzp the goat
Good to see the legendary Core 2 Quad Q6600 on the channel! May we expect more tests with it when possible? Maybe with the improved versions such as the Q9400?
I would've liked to see you test minimum requirements with a RAM upgrade or a slight upgrade to a component to see what it takes to get a more acceptable experience. In this case DDR2 4GB sticks are rare and expensive though so you did what you could.
Congrats on 350k subscribers! Hard work pays off.
It’s a good day when you upload 😁
Hey Kryzzp, have really been enjoying those minimum/recommended requirements videos lately, so I would be really happy if you did one such video for Elden Ring
I wanna see what's the absolute minimum I can go with and still get 60 fps
Thank you for a another banger of a video!! never bores me everytime!! much love from Philippines Kryzzp :)))
I have played it on the same cpu with 4 gb ddr3 ram and nvidia quadro k600. It was a 30 fps or above experience all of the time.
Yeah, but probably not in Win 10 bloatware. 😁
@@aleksazunjic9672 yeah i do remember to play gta 5 on Windows 8.😁😁😁
Yes you're using measly correct! you have great English and thank you as always for the content!!
Would love to see this with other games like fallout 4, fallout 76 and some other games nice video kryzzp!
Amazing video keep up the good work
Thank you 😃💪
when you post somthing new, it is at the perfect time 😁
Always end up watching your videos, always see them in recommend.
GTX 660 is not a bad card. I got one for 20 bucks a while ago to use in a secondary PC. Good to know it runs GTAV. The 660ti is selling around 18 bucks now here which is a better card so it is very cheap to get into GTAV gaming.
Gee I wish they were that cheap here in Australia, for us they are between $50-$100AUD
I managed to get a Gigabyte GTX660WF 3TB ($60AUD) for my *60 Collection a few weeks ago, 960s have just gotten back under $100AUD so I may get one of those soon too
Currently have 260, 460, 560, 660, 760 4GB & 1060 6GB & am planning to do some scalling testing with them 😁
@@shaneeslick The market here is strange. New cards cost more than the rest of the world but used older cards are very cheap. I’ve seen GTX 680 go for 30 bucks and that was a 3 slot ASUS Direct CUII card. 960 goes for about 40 bucks for the 2GB version a bit more for 4GB. Meanwhile new cards cost 50% more than most countries.
@@wertywerrtyson5529 where r u from?
@@rejitv2666 I’m from Sweden.
@Chill gaming I don’t use the 660 in my main PC but for my PC connected to the TV to watch Netflix and general internet use it is perfect because it is the last generation to use HDMI 1.4 and my TV is old enough to not handle HDMI 2.0 signals as the screen just turns blank with such a card. It is also enough to play some older games and indie games if i want. The ASUS Direct CUII version I have is also very silent. For my it was a good buy at 20 bucks but probably not something I would want for my main gaming rig.
Oh boy I was waiting for this one
about the poor performance, you'd usually notice the horrid optimization when you're near the changed updated areas, like the casino, and the New Island(cayo perico) that's locked behind a paywall and a heist (in-game money), new island is filled with vegetation and casino is just filled with Effects and possibly telementry, those are the only two highlights, anyways, amazing video as always Kryzzp keep it up!
This is nearly identical to my current pc. Same cpu although I'm using a gtx 760. Great video as always Kryzzp
"TRIPLE SHALE WEE Loved 😍 It 😂
Nice video, it works!
I played it on my ps3 and after its release on PC, I played with an i3-540, GT430, and 4 gigs of ram from 2015 up until 2017. I even installed a bunch of mods on it. I think I used to get ~25-55 fps on 720p. Seems like yesterday.
Great video man
Thanks!
You should try overclocking the Q6600, I used to have it back in the day at 4ghz!!! it overclocks very well even on air, the overclock made especially a big difference in GTA 5 which I used to play all the time. I'm also Portuguese BTW love your videos, great Job, cumprimentos da Madeira!
Amazing video again Kryzzp
Thank you so much for this, I’m currently building a PC strictly to play GTA V with mods
Very Nice Bro Keep It Up
Hey Again El Kryzzp Back again sorry 😔 for not coming in previous videos because I got sick 🤢 but btw love your videos
Hey! Hope you're feeling better! Thanks for watching :)
This reminds me of those days when as a kid my dad got me a laptop with integrated gpu and I had to run every game in 800x600 to even get that 30 fps.... Ah maan...
Nice video 😃
Also, next video if you can try Minecraft on min and req specs please 🙏✨
maybe 4GB of RAM and that kind of CPU was enough back then because back then Windows 10/7/8.1 is lighter compared to the current version. I remember i could play F1 2015 in my HD 4000 laptop with 20-30 fps, but now my laptop is struggling to get 20 fps. maybe hardware degradation also slightly affect the fps. anyway, great video 👍👍
Early versions of Windows 10 definitely weren’t as RAM intensive as it is now.
I was thinking the same thing. He should've tested that PC on Windows 7, not Windows 10.
Yes totally. When Windows 10 was released, official system requiremens was only 1GB od RAM for 32-bit version and 2GB for 64-bit one. Later (around 2018) it was increased to 2GB also for 32-bit one.
Also GTAV recieved lots of patches during last 7 years, which can cause that game itself can be much memory hungry, than "out of box" release in 2015.
I love this game I've been playing it since i was a weee little pip now i rob banks for a living and i never get caught! I love this game and thanks mr krzyyp for the amazing videos!
😂😂
Thanks for watching!!
happy again to watch your video
Man i really needed this video.
I am buying a second pc and wanted to test i5 3470
You can actually overclock the q6600 to 3Ghz using tape and i think it would help with the CPU usage being pegged at 100% and also help with the stutter. Would like to see you try it.😊
favourite gpu testing youtuber tbh
love the videos kryzzp❤❤❤
Just got myself a gaming laptop and had been wanting one for years I was trying to see if I could run it before buying thanks !😊
Amazing vid kryzzp
nice concept
Would love to see him do this style of video when GTA VI is released ❤
please always test online in full session (28-30 players) its much intensive than 10-20 players lobby
I loveeeee this content
This was very interesting
This makes me feel grateful for being able to play this game in the i51135g7 iris xe with 8gb ram and around 40-50fps in 900p high to very high and in online 30-35fps
The older version of gta was able to run very smooth on 4gb ram. That's how i played it back then with literally zero stutters on 4gb ram
Love this video comparisons!
What software do you use for the FPS overlay? Looks like Msi afterburner and riva statistics tuner.
I love the jack part all the time
thank you you are the best 🎉
I do hope that Project Revive does survive it's development and that it'll completely optimize GTA IV to where the game will then actually live up to the recommended System requirements because my Laptop and desktop fit the recommended requirements for it but sadly due to how R* gave treatment both can't really hit 60fps constantly at the default recommended settings
I finished the game with core2duo, 3gb ram, and radeo fx5570 2gb. With CRT monitor like 800x600 or something. What a hood old days
Helpful Fact:on Minimum requirements you have to switch the framescaling to 0x250 pixels other known as 1 when its on off it matches the settings based on the resolution incase you will get a smoother performace when framescaling is changed to 0x250 i run gta v on nvidia geforce gt 640 2gb gigabyte i normally do that option to get more fps on 1080p and i get 60fps
Yes thank you online requirements! And will you ever do Rx 570 4gb card?
Happy birthday GTA 5!! 10 years ago today. What a technology advanced masterpiece of a game it was in 2013
love your video
Thanks!!
i got a gtx 1050ti + amd fx 8150. Thank you for the video but a little tip is to also show low graphics because people like to look the max fps that they can get .
Kryzpppp is the OFFICIAL consistent RUclipsr of youtube
Video idea, minimum and recommended warzone requirements
oh man i already have this GTX 662 gpu in second pc😆it runs still realtively good. i learned looking for reqirement as a minimum because these "minimum" specs are usually a far away below the real minimum
The way he killed Bob was sadistic, it gets me worried for other NPCs lol
I used to play GTA V with a 9400GT, an A4 4000, and 4GB of RAM. Not the greatest experience, but I still enjoyed the game a LOT.
I remember when I used to play GTA 5 with 4 gigs of ram and an AMD R5 integrated graphics chip
I remember getting around 20ish frames per second.
Great way to celebrate gta 5's 9th birthday!
nice vid
Thanks!
A huge thing to note is that recording also uses your PC's hardware. So the game may run better on your end as long as you have met system requirements and your PC doesn't have problems beforehand.
he's using an external capture card and another PC for recording, so it's not gonna affect the pc that he's using to game
@@hygienic_wig2507even if he wasn’t, NVIDIAs built in capture software is so light on performance that it basically has no noticeable impact on performance overall.
i3-4370 + 750ti will keep you above 30fps at 1080p with Normal/High mix. I used this combination in an old Optiplex for over a year when the GPU market was out of control.
lets go the best video came out😇
😁😀
More minisforum please 😊 thanks
Nice wallpaper!!!
Thanks!
I hope you will be benchmarking GTA 6 soon!
Bro big fan..... Test Rise of the tomb rider minimum requirement and recommended. plzz
Please do more videos of Q6600 and 9800gt presumably older games
You should do more games test on that recommended requirements configuration i5 3470 and gtx 660 can still run some modern games pretty well :b
I could play this reasonably well on a core 2 duo e8400 i think it was (or i may have upgraded to the q9550 by that point)... with a gt 620, 4gb of ddr2 and when i got a samsung ssd it got a whole 4-10fps more consistently. Was super surprised i got that kind of improvement from storage, the only time i ever experienced that... 1 of the best scaling games ive played personally
The textures and models not loading take me back to playing Vice City on a Pentium 3 @800mhz, lol.
Soo i had a p5ql-pro, xeon e5440, gtx 750ti and 4x2gb dd2 800mt. Had some mb issues and i had to remove half of the ram and i was like getting 40-50 fps but once in every 1min the game stuttered like hell. Tried win 7 home and i got my idle ram usage to ab 600mb but even then nothing changed. Nice video btw
Hey Kryzzp, what cooler did you use on the i5? I have the S version at hand, just want to compare your solution to mine (Arctic Alpine 12)
Love it ❤️
🥰
@@zWORMzGaming you have realy good videos ❤️
You should try overclocking the Q6600!
Im playing it on a recommended reqs and its true.Gtx 660 can handle it perfectly
love that thumbnail XD
Damn, Kryssp loves Jack but hates Bob, what did Bob do??😂😂🤣🤣
Still remember playing this in an i3 4th gen and 4 gb ddr4 and a gt610 and is still very much playable tbh tho it does stuttered at some point or the other but it works well
it work on my pc thx bro vеry much
I have an i5 2400 and 8gb of ddr3 ram with a GTX 1050TI. Im running gta 5 on 1080p high without any issues. 50 to maybe high 60s fps wise. But the statement about hard drives is true because before i upgraded to ssd and was still using a hard disk my game was slow as hell at loading textures it was hell.
We need more videos like this i5 3470 + gtx 750ti
Good Video! But can you test Genshin impact please??
Hi Kryzp I have a question, does a i7 4790k bottleneck a rx 570(4gb)? If so what card is good with an i7 4790k
Nice
4:49 i was expecting kil bob 😂
please make more this type of videos
Perfect
Maybe 4 gigs would work better on windows 7, or even vista. The Q6600 works on windows 8, but the q6600 came out the same year as vista, and supports dx 10
