Like pretty much the only person who would stand by Dream is Punz maybe but everyone else will be so angry that old grudges would just dissolve. It really doesn't matter if they are friends of Tommy or not, I don't think many people would be okay with Dream straight up destroying Tommy.
The au is about how if dream fulfilled what he promised he'd do to Tommy (killing and reviving him over and over again) this is a au where dream actually went through with it, it caused Tommy to lose emotions and the ability to really speak. His hair also turned completely white from being revived over and over again, hope this clears it up!
