A little different than what I usually do as I had very little control over the camera, but considering the channel is all about celebrating video games it would feel terrible to leave out such an amazing game out just because its 2D
No where near best looking lol Rdr2 and many other photorealistic games exist. Best art design? Sure, although I'd argue Botw and Cuphead both have it beat, and this is coming from someone who has HK in his top 5 all time
@@Peter-pq2cw rdr2 and the other photorealistic games (alan wake 2, cyberpunk, hellblade 2) are certainly more realistic, but "best looking" is a subjective metric. BOTW really is beautiful though, even though I'd still put hk and elden ring (graphics are mid but the art design is insane) above it
In an artistic way it does have the best look. Not graphic wise. And when it comes to the OST it's probably not the best. Although it depends on the music preferences of a person. However the melancholic music us soothing and beautiful.
Hollow knight is really special. One of the best metroid-vanias ever made, and the only thing I can see topping it is silksong when it comes out in 2074
Wow! Just the video I was looking for. I was looking for 2D inspiration at the moment for my game and just now I got this video, and that too from the legend Flurdeh himself. Awesome!
I think Hollow Knight warrants another video in the future. There are so many beautiful places still left, like that bench at the beginning of Greenpath slightly off the beaten path, or the tram station in Ancient Basin, or another half or City of Tears, or Soul Sanctum, or that other hidden bench in Greenpath and the whole way to Fog Canyon, or indeed the Fog anyon itself, or tranways in Deepnest, or Resting Grounds, or White Palace exterior and interior, you get the idea. And of course, there's much more awesome music to boot! Oh, and the Blue Lake! How could I forgot the Blue Lake!
At first I didn't understand the charm with the game, but that was at a very shallow 1 hour or so first glance. As soon as I began exploring the different areas, with the wonderful music accompanying it, I understood that I was experiencing something very special. I've had much less than 10 of these moments in my whole long life, and very few as of the more recent years.

Seeing this makes me think Silksong is worth all the wait
Were gonna get GTA6 before we see Silksong
The best looking game of all time finally gets its own video.
All hand-drawn, all beautiful.
OST is better than any other game too

A beautifull Video for a beautifull Game. Thank you Flurdeh
One of the best games out there
This game is a masterpiece because of the atmosphere and story of it.
If somebody ask me why I love hk, I tell them to watch this video.
The art and the map are just the major reason why I love this masterpiece
This is my formal request for you to do tiny shift No Rest for the Wicked, it's beautiful!
Seeing this makes me wanna play it again

Would you be able to do “Rain World”? It has very beautiful art.
Looks great, what do you think about GRIME?
Do Jedi survivor please
Should have been a tilt shift video. I bet that would have been unbelievable
It's a 2d game, don't think it's possible with the parallax
I can only do that when a game is 3D :-)
