- This was the BIGGEST gathering of Mustangs in all of Europe, a historic three-day weekend event in Poitiers, France, organized by the Mustang Club de France to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Mustang. Over 1400 Mustangs from all generations, including unique and rare models, racing ones, and those with peculiar colors and characteristics, were present. The event included fantastic concerts every day, and there were many interesting people to meet, such as Pierre, who completed a historic 5000km Tour de France in just 5 days with his Mustang from '65, and Patrick, our knowledgeable host who shared insights about the beauty of the Mustang. It was a FrenchTastic weekend that I'll always

Mustang Marie! 🐎🇫🇷
Ain't nothing like the thump of American horse power 💪🇺🇲 salute from Louisiana ⚜
you know, as an American, i never once thought other countries would have an interest or a fascination over our cars; so seeing this, it is truly shocking in a good way!
Ever watch top gear? They roast the hamster over his love of Americana lol
the nordic countries love classic american cars as well
Guess how i know you are under 30😅
I concur... Having traveled to Europe a fair bit, I have very rarely seen American Muscle flexing like this. LOVE IT !
I agree 100%.
Looking forward to the day when Marie owns her own mustang.
As long as it's not the Mach E
Marie, you are every car guy's dream girl!
Respectfully, can confirm
"It is going to be fire"
You wanna know what's more rare and more beautiful than some of those incredible Mustangs? Marie's smile. 😁🤗
You did a great job covering the event. I'm a big fan of Mustangs, also. Thanks for taking us along with you and your Mom.
Everyone LOVES the Eleanor Mustang (the one you voted best sounding).
I love it when you speak French with your mother.
What an amazing event! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
All I could think about was the car chase with Steve McQueen in "Bullit," over the hills of San Francisco in a Mustang airborne in every other take and still the best car chase scene ever. The definition of crazy cooooollll.
"La rouge" your Mom said ❤ your Mom is wonderful 🎉
Marie --- I trust you've seen THE Mustang movie, "Bullitt!" ❤❤💯
That's amazing! I love the mid-60's era Mustangs, with the '65 being my favorite. That is my dream car.
I'm totally into the 60's Mustang's. They're awesome!
Great job Marie. Your video editing remains among the very best. You made the whole events seem real and absolutely amazing. It is a pleasure to be a patreon of this channel. ♥ Rich and Mila in Seattle. ♥
I'm happy too see you had such a great time at the event! I laughed at the scene with the fake arrest. 😂
Who knew this existed? Never would have guessed.
You being there, your happiness was off the charts! You did great recording and showing the event. There will be no balance in the world until you have your very own dream Mustang. It will happen!
I bet when you went to sleep at night after your trip back, all you could hear was the sound of revving Mustang engines ringing through your ears! I know that's how it would've been with me. Glad you had a blast that weekend! 🚘🐎🇫🇷🍻
Wow, I never knew there was this much love for Mustangs in France! As a 65 Mustang owner, this makes me happy to see!! Awesome!!
Wow, what a great event. I'm jealous!
Hey Marie, if you haven't seen it already, I suggest the iconic movie clip that every Mustang fan needs to see, it is the car chase in the movie Bullitt, featuring Steve McQueen in his 1968 Mustang GT Fastback in the streets of San Francisco. It is arguably the best car chase scene ever filmed and one that puts you "in" the car at times during the chase to get the experience of being with Steve as he races on the hills of the city.
You will thank me later :)
Excellent movie!
Wow, that certainly looks like heaven for Marie! What an amazing time you must've had, I would've loved to have been there with you!
Wonderful!!! Thank you! I love the purr (the sound of a 302 with glass packs). Mustangs have a sound all their own. Who knew Europe had Mustangs? Thank you again. Take care.
I went to one of these events while visiting New Zealand a few years ago. I remember a Limited Edition white '65 or '67??? that originally came with a bottle of cologne in a Mustang shaped white bottle. The owner still had the original bottle with the car.
If you are going to buy a Mustang, get one from the mid 60's, 1965, 1966, 1967, they are simple to operate and work on. Plus they look so cool! I own a 1964 1/2 Mustang Coupe, this was the first year Mustang was introduced. It's a keeper.
😂😂😂 Who would have thought Marie would be there.
Bonjour Marie! Your comment describing this video got cut off. This is similar to the Mustang meetup thing that happens every year at the Woodward Dream Cruise here in Michigan near Detroit on the third Saturday in August. Not only do they have an area full of Mustangs from every year, as well as racing Mustangs, one offs, special makes and mods, and other custom Mustangs, but also Ford brings down one of each new model, along with several of their own specialized Mustangs they have in their collection or for special events. I have some pics form last year I wanted to send you , but I haven't ever gotten them off my phone to where I could email them to you. Glad you got to see SO many for yourself! Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed
Very happy you experienced this event!
Your love for Mustang is always so contagious. I am the same way. That is why I have owned 2 Mustangs over the years, My first was a 1995 v6, that I had for 8 years. My second is a 2022 GT that I've had for 2 years now. I am part of the largest Mustang group in Tucson, and meet regularly. I get just as excited as you when I see one ( or more) and I drive one!!
This brings back a lot of memories for me. I remember when they first came out. I turned 13 in 1964 and daydreamed about having one when I went to high school in 1965. I enjoyed seeing you are your Mom sharing this event. I see that you get your looks from your Mom.
I have owned 4 mustangs. A 1966 candy apple red one . Two 1970 Mach 1’s grabber green and blue metallic and a 1997 cobra mustang triple black convertible. Loved them all. Next time you are in America you have to rent one.
Looks like a fun weekend!
I had no idea there was that many mustangs in Europe.
Some impressive looking cars there! Hard to pick just one as a favorite.
Had a red, 3speed/floor shifter in 1968. Loved that car...should have kept it.
I am happy for you that you got to see so many wonderful Mustangs! 😊
IN 1969 the president of Ford Motor Co, Semon "Bunkie" Knudson had a special car personally built for him, in secret. When anyone asked the engineers they could only say it was for the boss. That was the beginning of the Mustang Boss 302. Have a great day!
I know what Marie wants for Christmas! 🏎
God, that Elenor sounds fantastic ❤
Oh! My wife says that if you’re ever in the DC area you can drive her Mustang! :)
Hey Marie , " Go out there" with smoking hot wheels vroom vroom 😎 🐎 🇺🇸
Amazing Display , you could hardly contain your excitement. So spoilt for choice , alot of variations. The T - Racer with its spoilers was Rad ( the 69 boss 429 was also designed for racing , it's one of the rarest & most valuable ever) & the Mach a favourite for sure. Red is more striking but obvious , maybe you do prefer yellow or green more. I like any muscle car with stripes & a chrome interior. As cool as the models of the last 20 years are & the limited ' heritage wimbledon edition ' with its 480 horsepower ( the 2020 GT 500 the most powerful ever at 760 hp ) that's available for the anniversary , alot of people ain't that wonderful over. The truth is you just can't beat the 60s Shelby's classics , they have the X factor & are a work of art , who wouldn't jump at the chance to fire up a 69 black fastback into action like your John wick.
I liked how much of a celebration it was , ha the boomers were rocking out , not to familiar with Fuzz Top , I'm glad there keeping Dusty's memory alive having grown up with ZZ Top ⚡ & the 33 ford coupe hot rod , I've always liked there bluesy southern rock vibe. You picked up some cool merch , the t-shirt will look good with your summer wardrobe , the picture was super , anything like that would look great on our wall. They had cakes to 😋 I wonder if we could bake a dyed one in the shape of a mustang. Praise the heavens , I wasn't expecting a Gospel Choir , makes it all the more special. The whole story about Pierre challenge was epic , with it being live , I didn't pick up on everything , hopefully there's a documentary we can all check out , his test of endurance sounds inspiring. The Mustangs coming out roaring is music to our ears.
The whole event looked marvellous , I'm pleased you & your mom had a great time , when you'll back in the states , there will be meet ups & collections I believe just as special to look forward to , you've got to visit a racetrack & a monster truck show 💥 I hope you can persuade someone you trust to let you drive ( yes for girls it's different but it shouldn't be) or rent one out. The Question on everybody's mind is do you have a absolute favourite you've seen yet that your like to take home?
If your interested I did across a black Mustang for under 10 grand at Dereham Motors across the channel in Norfolk , the red & yellow ones are around £20 000 but don't get yourself into any dept unless you can afford it , I just wanted to keep you informed , if i do buy one your always welcome to borrow it.
Merci pour le partage Marie , appreciate your unbridled passion for muscle cars , Happy 60 anniversary 🚘🚦💪 Have a wonderful week 🤗 🧡 🤟
I hate to see all those beauties so far from home, but also I’m glad to see other people getting to appreciate them🇺🇸👍
Hi Marie. Beautiful photography. You look so happy to see all the Mustangs. How many did you like as for style and color.
Amazing collection of Mustangs! Even Mustang 2 and Mustang Mach-e but I didn’t see any Fox bodies. Great video! Very cool to see all the fun.
I had an '83 V6 GLX with t-tops that I wish I still had. The 80s models don't get much love, but they still Mustangs.
Incroyable! So many stunningly beautiful machines. Awesome. A nightmare to edit, though, I imagine! You did a great job, Marie. 👍
It was a tough editing 😅
this video was frenchtastic marie
Bonjour Marie, it's so cute how excited you get about Mustangs. Hopefully someday you'll be driving one.
previously owned a 1985 GT and won a 1994 GT convertible at a school raffle. I currently own a 2008 GT500, 2017 GT350R. I enjoyed your video.
Awesome weekend 🐎. From a 🇺🇸 Mustang lover ❤️ .
What a wonderful video Marie!! 👏
Good video about crazy 's Mustangs. **Marie Uses Severals Tools And Never Gives up**
Very cool!!! I had no idea they would have this many mustangs in France : )
This is so dang cool!! It's so wonderful to see car culture overseas, & especially classics & muscle cars. Add to that a ZZ Top cover band & a Gospel Choir! How fantastic is that. 🤟😎
Wow. That's a lot of Mustangs. That ones mine that's mine that ones mine too. 😅 Nice car show Marie. Great video.
This content is AMAZING Marie! Thank you for sharing!
I hope you get to own your Dream Mustang one day.
I had no idea that The Mustang was popular in France. Some very beautiful cars at this show.
Thank you for sharing. As a Mustang lover also, it was great to see this.
Wow Marie, what an amazing weekend this must've been for you as a die hard Mustang fan. Thanks so much for sharing it, although it really makes me miss my first car and the one I learned to drive in, a blue 66 Mustang 2 + 2 (fast back). I sold it to get some college money and I've regretted it ever since. But my love for Mustangs never went away so thanks again.
You need to buy one 👍🇺🇸
They're much more expensive in Europe.
That is such an awesome weekend to experience Marie, and to have your Mom with you to make it that much more special is totally cool. Say hello to her from me and all the Frenchtastic Fanatics. I hope all those Mustangers were aware of the greatness they were in the presence of....... Marie from Frenchtastic..... yes, you Marie. Is your middle name Shelby by any chance? We do know that when it comes to youtubers.... You Are The BOSS 😊😊 Great video and even greater smile on your face... ❤ from Fla USA.
Hi 👋😎 Miss Marie !!! Glad You made it Home Healthy & Happy !!! As always the like button ✅ has been Illuminated 😁 👍👍🤗💯🌎🎧🎙️🎵🎶🎹🎥
Mustangs are great cars, we've had a few
🇫🇷⚜🇫🇷 Vous etiez au paradis des Ford Mustang! Sois heureux!
Thanks Marie!
Very cool. I think your mam loved them as much as you do. )))
I totally agree with you.
Either the Mach 1, or the Boss Mustangs.❤
Cool video, lots of Mustangs! Ford celebrated the 60th anniversary at Charlotte Motor Speedway, only 10 miles from where I live! They have the Ford Performance Driving School there and a tech center nearby. Plus Charlotte is home to many NASCAR race teams, including those that run a Mustang look-alike. You can find their 30 minute presentation here on RUclips. PS: I got a ride in a new Mustang GT at the track there, a fund experience!
Wow, A Gospel choir hopefully singing about Jesus 👍👍🙏.
My first car in high school was a 1987 Mustang GT 5.0.
I have a Mustang GT and I love her so much❤❤
Superbe, belle vidéo, merci! Ce weekend c'est reparti à Lurcy Lévis!!
Great video Marie!!! If you were ever in my area you would get to ride and drive a 70 Mach 1 that my brother and I rebuilt. Any Mustang owner would be lucky to have you ride in their car. Your love of Mustangs is easy to see without saying a word, seeing that pretty face light up around a Mustang tells you everything. Glad you got to spend some time with your cars.
You must have been in heaven! My dad had a red ‘68 Mustang and he would put all four of us kids in the back seat to go somewhere! Then my brother had a ‘70 Mustang 302 2 barrel in high school. And my mom even had one in the early 80s (but they were so ugly!).
Marie, thank you for the amazing video on Mustangs in France 🇫🇷. At 10:03 in the video I believe you show my former 2009 dark green Bullit edition Mustang that was shipped to a buyer in France in March 2020. I thoroughly enjoyed driving that car for ten years!
My favorite is still the 65 fastback, simple and compact
Im glad i got to spend a weekend with you lol should throw in some of the food you eat on these outings. We wont complain about longer format videos.
The city of Charles Martels heavy cavalry is the perfect location for the pony car celebration.
Great post! Thanks! :)
Hope Someday You Win the Lottery and get Your Mustang ! It I win , I will make sure you will have a Red One !
Very cool!!! 🤙
I had a 40th edition Mustang I called "Burple" because it was an Indigo color. It was pretty. I had to sell it because I was about to have a baby and it's a pain taking a car seat in and out of a two door vehicle. It's been 14 years and I miss it now 😂
You should watch the movie bullet
Mustang owner myself. Lady has good taste in cars.. hope you get one soon if you dont have one yet.
I used to own the one the Mach 1 that was your "Fav". Mine was blue with flat black stripes, had the same rear wing and the rear window shade, and had the 351 Cobra Jet engine. First car I owned. Started a family and bye-bye Mach 1. All of my brothers also owned Mustangs.
I assume you could join the Mustang Club even though you do not (yet) own a Mustang.
L’anglais est ma langue maternelle, mais je viens de comprendre ce que signifie, “That’s fire”! C’est à dire “That’s cool”! C’est une expression toute neuve parmi les jeunes. Bravo Marie! Ton anglais est excellent. It’s fire!
The blue color that you like is called Grabber Blue 🐎
My 1st car was a 1964.5 Mustang. Man I miss that car.
My first car was a 1968 Mustang with a performance rear axle. It could get off the line crazy fast, but the gas mileage was horrible... on a good day, I'd get about 13 MPG. Loved that car though.
You need to find a place in America where you can drive one around a track, that'll make a great video.
My favorite is the 66 Cobra. Yes Mustang straight out of Dearborn Michigan!
Wow!!
Thank you, Marie. Great video. You will be driving one someday. Which year do you like the best. Stay well and I hope you have a great spring.
tough question
When I was a kid, I built a plastic model of that yellow and blue "Monroe" Mustang II.
Eleanor!
My brother bought his '88 GT here in North Carolina back in 1990 and now has over 500,000mi on the odometer with the original engine and the Doug Nash 5-speed transmission that he bought for it in '91.
Really nice looking cars there. As a Camaro guy, that many Mustangs in one place is a bit like a buffet; used to eat the Stang guys up in street racing as a kid in the early 80's. 😉 Mary, you know that FORD means "Found On Road Dead" right? LOL Seriously though, what a great show! Looks like you had a great time! My son had a 2019 Mustang for a while and it was almost scary to drive. Lot of fun, but more power than I ever had back in the day.
