British Gurkha Army with Military Cross and Four Star Medals | Daughter Tributes Father
This video is about my late father Captain Ratna Bahadur Limbu who served 28 yrs in British Gurkha Army and fought in World War Second and other.
He was appointed at King George The Sixth reign and retired at the Queen Elizabeth II reign.
During his service period he was decorated with 10 prestigious stars and medals. London Gazette 22 Oct 1954 published his name for the Military Cross medal.
The ten medals and stars he received are :
- The Military Cross
- The Africa Star
- The Italy Star
- The 1939- 1945 Star
- The Burma Star
- The Defence Medal
- 1939 - 1945 Medal
- Malaya Medal
- For Long Service and Good Conduct
- Indian Independence 15 Aug 1947 medal
This video is a tribute to my father who did so great work to succeed the besides rearing/caring his children and beloved wife.
