I have the Sofirn SF26, and I have to say I really enjoy the beam and use that light quite often. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a light with a clear hotspot and not fuzzy like there is with some lights I have used in the past. I also like the lesser spill at times so as I am not as distracted with peripheral sight at times and can concentrate on what I am spotting in the distance. On the overall though I do traditionally like reflector lights best as the light I use most for thrower lights is the Wurkkos TS30S as I like the beam profile and brightness seems a great combination for my purposes. Thank you for the comparison, I'll just keep with what I use now.
SF26 is a great option too, better design in my opinion - I like how it has the charging port under that unscrewable ring.
Thx mate the m21j seems a little more useful with the extra spill and larger hotspot.
I had the td01 and it was really fun but i ended up selling it because the hotspot was a little too small. Less spill than reflector also made it less practical for my uses.
The lack of spill on the TD01C is a deal breaker for some. I find I don't really use it anymore. But it is a cool thrower. At least with even the Convoy Z1 you can adjust the beam.

On a serious note, you've just helped me to eliminate this Wurkkos from my hit list. Looking at the M21J or the Sofirn SP60 thrower instead. 💡
I have the TD01C and i like it. I like the beam pattern and that it can go down to moonlight mode.
Yeah it's a huge upgrade over the TD01. Runs cooler and brighter sustained output.
@DarrenYeoYT I like that it doesn't have a lot of spill. When I am using it in a courtyard, the mostly spot beam pattern prevents excess light from going into other apartments.

The beam quality is nicer overall but doesn't throw as far.

Wow! good comparison... Im really curious on how much spill the convoy would have with the sft40, but if it performes like the sofirn it would lose its appeal... Hope to see it someday...
Think it'd have similar performance with SFT40. Would like to see a PM1.F1 or SFT-25 in the M21J.
First time hearing about an sft25...
I'm thinking the m21j would be ideal for the farm. Spill and illumination area much better. With comparable throw. Do we know what driver it's running?
It'd be a great option, especially on the lower 35% mode. It's a 20.5A buck driver.
