Beautiful. I’m awake early every morning. I’m one of those crazies who goes to bed early and get up early. Since Verner died it has become worse. The birds are my alarm clock. Fran I hope you took your shoes off when you hugged the tree. It resets your electrical fields. My son keeps telling me to do it. I’m waiting till it gets a little warmer!😉

The morning chorus is absolutely my favorite thing i look forward to in the spring. I go out on my porch with my coffee in PA USA and the songs are gorgeous 🎶🎶🎵honestly does my soul good. Thank you for sharing your Dawn Chorus I loved it💞🎶☺️ and you video.

I think i have heard someone say that when you listen to the blackbird song it changes over the year, and in covid times i remember hearing the black bird so clearly, and its song i got use to, and it almost became like words to me, this was because there was less traffic around then. it was quite a wonderful experience, just like you have shown us.

When I was working and raising a famiy I would get annoyed with the birds waking me up too early. Now that I'm retired, my children are grown and I am widowed I love to hear them in the morning. The video was beautiful.

Thanks for a lovely video. Enjoyed the dawn bird chorus, and didn't have to get up so early 😆. I have to say, that bit in the middle when Rich asked if there was any beer and Fran answered "coke", the look on that poor man's face was priceless! That dandelion honey looked so tasty! I had French toast with bourbon maple syrup today for brunch today. Nice tree hugging, Fran!

It's funny to hear, when you hit the right moment! It is dead still in the morning, and the one bird utters a little tweet and in a split second they all join in in an explosion of sound. A rare experience, but being there in the right moment is just amazing 🙂

Beautiful video!!! The cruise was like turning the pages of woodland picture book!!! Such a lovely area to cruise!!!!! Do hope they manage to clean up the sides at some point. Now that early morning birdsong - wow, I just might have to get myself out of bed early one of these days!!! Such beautiful choruses!! The Merlin App would go nuts trying to identify all those!!! We have got the app now but didn't at the time. I'm not sure it would have coped with the constant noise

Another wonderful video from the two of you. As for tree hugging, some 70 years ago, when I was a youngster, there was a great Oak not far from where I lived. I and my friends built a tree den in it, Now in my late 70's I take a walk passed that grand old Oak and I like to pat its trunk and say hello old friend.

I just put my phone near the TV and you heard blackbird, wren, Robin,blackcap, chiffchaff, mistle thrush, song thrush, and Wood pigeon. There might have been a pheasant too!!😁😁

I would love to be there. I flew over from Las Vegas for a Narrow Boat Holiday last May and wish I could do it again. Oh well, there are your videos, and they really help control my urge to sell the house and move me and the cats to a boat on one of the canals.

Nice to see Fran getting some human practice in before her tree hugging escapade. You two are so easy to watch. I liked her joke and might use "Stupid o'clock" myself if you don't mind. Years ago with my windows open, the morning was alive with deafening bird calls here in Ontario, but now all the construction has put an end to that so it was nice to join you both in your adventure. Oh BTW, I made some of your Dandelion honey and actually added 1/4 cup to my banana cranberry muffins. Pretty moist and tasty.

You should have visited the Haberdasher. Its a lovely untouched 1970s interior inn. It's like a pub museum almost like the black country museum. The locals are a bit weird mind !.

That cruise would have made me so nervous 😬 it was really narrow with the landslips. I’m Glad you got a peaceful mooring at the end. The birdsong was wonderful. I love a mixed woodland, it’s so alive. Will you be making more dandelion honey then Fran? It got the seal of approval from Rich. I’m gutted I won’t see you again at Crick as I can only make the Monday. When you had your boat at the show the other year I missed you too. I was there but never found you 😢 I hope you enjoy yourselves and our paths may cross one day 😂👍

Got all excited to hear you are atCrick, but then not on Monday when we are going. On a family visit from Australia and saw it was on so taking the time to head down there on Monday along with a visit to Bletchley Park on Tuesday. We live aboard a houseboat on the River Murray in South Australia. Love watching your videos.

That was the old Tettenhall station which is now a tea room in the Smestow nature reserve which is around the old railway. It is really interesting
