Jannik Sinner is playing some fantastic tennis right now and is definitely the favorite to win the title. Not a foregone conclusion though, but no doubt the main favorite. He’s also possibly the most mature young top player we have in the game today. Very calm and with great composure, he handles himself really well both on and off the court.

I was afraid the incident was going to take a mental toll on SInner, but it seems the opposite is true. He has evolved from "everybody's favorite cutie" with some fragility, into more of an introverted "us against the rest of the world" type of player, who now only cares about winning. I like his dead serious attitude a little less than the cheerfulness he has lost but it's definitely the attitude of a champion.

I used to think that Alcaraz with his power and explosive moves is the best ball striker on Tour. This week Tommy Paul said he thinks Sinner is that guy. After giving some thought and analysing it, i believe he is right. Sinner has the ability on both wings to strike winners from every position on court and he is better than anyone at this.

Yeah thats correct…but variety of alcaraz and sudden injection of pace & spin that he gets on his forehand in insane.
Anyways sinner cudnt hit many winners this match as medvedev was like a wall…sinner tried a lot but was simply unable to rush medvedev or hit past him.
Had medvedev served bit better or even controlled few UE’s…i am sure he could have win this match.

Daniil'l main straregy of using long rallies at the baseline did not work, Sinner beat him to his game plan with consistent barrage of passing shots. Then Daniil tried Aryana's tactics of hitting every shot with grunts, that too did not work. The grunting invariably quiet down into muttering. Sinner is the most consistent player on tour, the USO trophy looks most likely to land in his hands.
