That’s good you got all the VF kit wired in as designed. 👍. For anyone’s info that way using that spit second box for tricking the Maf from maxing outs it’s voltage reading was a early way of tuning a mk3 Bosch 2l or Vr6 ecu. After that companies like c2 , united motor sports, reflex tuning etc just used a stock maf sensor in a bigger sized maf housing to allow a lot more air volume through it before creating its max voltage signal. Much simpler way of doing it.. key part is the chip is tuned for a specific size of injectors (30lb, 36lb or 42lb injectors ):fpr and maf hosing size as a set.

I also bought a stage 3 vf kit for a mk4 12v. I emailed VF immediately after watching this video and got a response of the same instructions he got for a mk3. So i went online and found a r32/24v instructions but not the mk4 12v.
Noticed there's the same dead link issue with Honda ED/EE/EF chassis forum posts. That and the Photobucket curse which exacerbates the problem of finding info.
The MAF only see amount air, the ecu freaks out if the read of air flow go above xxxg/s. Typical 0.2-4.7v is "normal" The black box just cap it to 4.5v as max value.

@@MysteryGarage the "cheat" is, that the ecu use map value to give more fuel even if the maf "flat line" above xxxg/s.
