I listened to that one album multiple times and still only found 3 songs I liked which turned out to be the singles they released. However, even though I'm not a big fan on theirs, I'm still glad to see they're making music.
I’m looking forward to seeing Three Days Grace next year at Sonic Temple. I saw Saint Asonia in early March of last year and Three Days Grace a month later and was blown away by both bands, but now I’m gonna get to hear them together is like a dream come true. Three Days Grace isn’t even my favorite band (Metallica is), but this just makes me so GD excited. 🤘🏻

I humbly disagree, this is great, the lyrics aren't bad, your just overly critical. Listen to any TDG song and you'll see that there are few that have lyrics that aren't by your definition "corny".
There are local bands with self-produced albums that have better writing this. While I would prefer Matt return to MDD, I would stomach the duo if Adam brought back some much needed deep lyrics that have actual meaning. Unfortunately there are local bands without record deals that have far better lyrics than this. The breakdown of: Calm down, we'll be okay Just some turbulence, we're on our way We're going down, but not today We'll never say Mayday is unacceptable, as is the forced rhyme of "of" and "enough" in the first verse. I hope the album is better than this but man, if it isn't I hope they go back and write something better than "We be losing our minds, but we all try to hide it It's hard to keep fighting when you're barely surviving". Yikes.

@@jordandixson7732 some people prefer Adam as a vocalist, me, I don't mind it's a great song and I am a huge fan of three days grace whether it's Adam or Matt but back in the day, specifically the one x album, Adams emotion and lyrics really spoke to me as a teen struggling with my mental health they helped like no other and his music I will always cherish, whether it's where he fronts fully or co fronts with Matt. Some people might not like the new sound but it is what it is.
