What a great show, this is the green day i loved and grew up with 😎👌👏 what a mess, don't know how they put up with that as long as they did smh. Made me laugh though how they handled it 🤣👌
I could’ve gone. I was 20 years old and a bunch of friends of mine went. I can tell you one thing though none of the people I know that went had a good time. They were all fucking miserable for days wet cold dirty hungry. Even looking back and none of them are very fond of the experience and hardly any remember enjoying the music.
That's insane. It's so easy to just watch the video and think "wow this must have been fun". That being said, I would not have had a good time either if I had gotten stuck in the middle of this mud fight.
Kid, this was in 1994. Punk died in the mid 80’s when The Clash broke up. You know, The Clash… a fucking real punk rock band before pop punk Green Day. The Stooges. MC5. Ramones. The Clash. Sex Pistols. Wire. Buzzcocks. The Germs. The Damned. Black Flag. Dead Boys. Voidoids. Bad Brains. Dead Kennedy’s… just a few off the top of my head. Green Day is not punk. They are pop punk. Big difference.
😂 They didn’t want to play this festival but somehow 💵 they got talked into it. Then Mike has the nerve to call the audience a bunch of rich people as soon as he’s on stage. 🤦♂️
Green Day’s Woodstock '94 performance was a colossal train wreck. It was less a memorable rock moment and more a cringeworthy display of immature antics and noise. The mud fight was a pathetic, attention-seeking stunt that only underscored their lack of real talent and substance. Their set was a chaotic mess, revealing their true colors as a band with more hype than actual skill. It’s no wonder their performance is remembered as a glaring example of punk's empty facade.
no fancy equipment, only 3 of them playing the whole music. no backing tracks whatsoever just pure talent and vibe
nothing wrong with backing tracks
Tell me you know nothing about performing live without telling me you don't anything about playing live 😂
“Talent” is a bit of a stretch.
How old are you? Fancy equipment! Ha ha ha. Yes, none of them had their gold Liberace guitars with them that day.
@@Eric_In_SF they suck
My mom took me to my grandma's house when I was 10 that day and I went to the basement to watch the TV and this was on MTV. I was in a trance.
Holyshit!... that was 30 years ago! They were Sooo good.
25:03 damn that guitar tone is quite muddy
Haha lol 😅😂
THEY SOUND SO GOOD HOLY SHIT
25:55 bro where did he go?
This is the best live of Greenday.
No, It's Not The Biggest Concert Ever.
There is an energy that cannot be measured by the size of the venue or the number of spectators.
The best! I remember watching this at my friend’s house in August of 94’. It’s nice to feel young again and smile. 😊
Dude Billie’s head color is honestly GREAT. Just a cool fugkin color to look at.
Mike getting tackled by a security guard and losing teeth after the mudfight is crazy
30 years later...I just saw them in DC just a week ago. Amazing!
I'm not nostalgic, but the world was happier before the internet.
100%. Downhill ever since
The problem started with the Industrial Revolution, and things have been getting worse since
Dumb comment 😂
It certainly wasn’t as gay, which was a good thing.

Wow, throw one beer at any other rocker and show is over. These guys are rock and roll.
thank you for sharin , great quality , i love it . amazing gig
Mike Dirnt might be one of the best to ever pick up a bass. He alone is really getting me into Green Day but I am heavily biased as a bass player lol.

Best as a 3 piece band.
Mike is such a great backing vocalist.
4 piece was also good with the other guitar player, Jason White I believe.
Gave Billie Joe an opportunity to focus on singing yk?
Its now a 6 piece band if you count the touring members
@@RareDong NOW it is a 6 piece, but as a 4 piece it was great too. 6 piece is great as well.

True so true it was way better before the internet
Billie’s voice has changed so much. It used to be fuller and lower. Now his speaking and singing voice is so delicate sounding and higher.
