Design of shoe- not so much. “Barefoot” shoes, which are much better for our feet, should NOT have cushion, should have zero drop (heel not raised) & a wide toe box to allow toes to splay (like walking barefoot). Now, if someone could design a shoe like THAT, it would be a real game changer!
GO barefoot then , the idea here is to get the average person healthy and grounded in constant contact with the earth again , NOT to wear a arch breaking barefoot shoe that is so impractical and ridiculous looking , that it can only be worn in the same conditions as one could just as easily go barefoot ! Most earthing shoes are so absolutely ABSURD in design , and function that no one will make the switch , why would they , but finally some one has bridged that gap , and made a real grounding shoe that anyone could , and would wear has been made . In reality both shoes have their place , but the idea that every shoe needs to be a barefoot shoe is monumentally absurd .
These shoes look very comfortable and attractive. I love the idea that there are shoes available that are functional and yet allow you to be grounded. I’m in the US. Is there a US based website to purchase from?

These would only work if we were walking on mother earth. So good for going on walks in the countryside because lets face it walking in bare feet is hazardous. Every time I walk on the grass in my backyard I get bitten by an ant or pricked by some nasty weed.
That's correct Craig. Walking barefoot outside can be hazardous and these shoes are perfect for protecting your feet while still getting all the benefits from walking barefoot on the earth.

The shoes are true to size for US sizes (women's same as Aussie sizes) - so you could compare them with other shoes that you have - look at the inside label. If you need to get a size up or down we do include one free postage to send out the new shoes, however, you will have to pay for postage to return them.

There are different shoe styles available from the company which are more flexible and don't have a raised heel.
