Received my Starseeker last month and it's been working very well. A little slow as you've previously mentioned, but I just modify my routine a bit to do something else while it grinds. The only part of the design that still leaves me scratching my head is the magnetic ring with the arrow - I have no idea why anyone would ever need to rotate that ring to a different position. I'm grinding right now one tick past 3 with current beans (dark roast). Near 1 it chokes my machine. :) With my espresso cups (all European cafe-sourced cups), I can only grind about 15g to get 32g out, otherwise I'd be overfilling the cup. I've also never seen any cafe serve anything over 30-32g, but I have to get a smaller filter basket as I'm not a fan of so much dead space, even with a screen.

I'm so happy that you're enjoying the grinder. I favor it also over all my other grinders.
Do you have a DF64 or DF54 and if you have, which of those (including the Starseeker Edge) do you prefer?
I believe you need to have a look at my latest video. The new E55 grinder is better than Edge.
You think the baratza encore esp is better than starseeker?
No, it isn't for sure except that Baratza is a well-known name. But the Edge is waaaaay better.
