Being strong may mean you will survive. However it doesn’t mean you will be liked, let alone loved. Love is an entirely different conundrum than survival.
If there was a threat introduced late in the manga outside of the Night Raid to humiliate her, forcing her to reconsider her actions, it would've been expanded the character and lead to a redemption arc, but it's not case except for fanfiction.
1:41- I am convinvced is not a nice man who didn't turn a blind eye to his daughter's obvious budding sadism, but someone just as bad if not worse. Notice how he's more coldly observant rather than legitimately appalled. It's subtle, but its apparent that the evil had to come from somewhere.
I'll admit to not being an Esdeath fan, but am someone who can respect her skills in battle as a warrior. She is NEVER to be underestimated. But in terms of her relationship to Tatsumi....while I see your point, I argue what she has is more obsession than love. As she even made/discovered her trump card out of her sheer desire to make sure Tatsumi can NEVER run away from her again. And in the manga, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't she force herself on him? I would never call anyone willing to do that to another love. When you love someone, you don't treat them like your prisoner or force yourself on them. But that's just my views and if Esdeath could be given a redemption to better herself if things HAD been different....I would gladly say it's worth a shot and maybe even take it given a chance....maybe. I'd honestly go the Akame route given a chance over the other girls of Akame Ga Kill if given a choice. But I can say it would be nice to see Esdeath in a different light as well.
Well, i'd say you're half wrong, Esdeath is often suggestive and moreso forceful... though she does give him the option of consenting. Personally i'd say she loved him, having no experience or prior knowledge of such a feeling i don't think you can blame her for her actions, after all her only wish was to be beside him/just wanting his affection. (She created her trump card also to finish her opponent, so a half truth.)
10:22- in the manga, it's more pitiful, she laments that Tatsumi will not only survive, but will move on to another woman- forgetting about her as will the world in a few generations time- with the added humiliation of her remains literally being the pleasure tool of someone who really shoudl've died ages ago.

@@sueflewelling3657 To answer your questions. 1. She says they need to have all 4 requirements, so I'd assume they can't be lacking any of them. 2. I don't think they would make a good couple, even under different circumstances, since Tatsumi is more of a "leader" type of male, it would clash with Esdeath's needs/wants. 3. By picture, if you mean the thumbnail of the video, it's just an image cel of Esdeath from one of the episodes with the background replaced with a screencap from another episode. 4. Ghost Rider would win because his Sin Manipulation ability would cause Esdeath to go into shock and breakdown, due to the amount evil that's in her heart, putting her in a vulnerable state which would make it an easy win for Ghost Rider. Plus, fire beats ice. Hopefully this answers all the questions that you asked.

Esdeath is number 1 the Japanese popularity poll. So, a lot of Japanese would agree that the Yeagers are the best team for having her as their leader.
She was the most brutal of all anime.
