    Today`s video showcases the Vulcan High Power Taxi runs performed here at Southend Airport. This Avro Vulcan Registered XL426 Performed 2 High Power Runs on Runway 23 leaving that Iconic Vulcan Howl Then on the Final run she released her huge Parachute pulling her to a stop. XL426 flew with the Royal Air Force from 1962 to 1986, She served with 83 Squadron at RAF Scampton before coming to Southend for her Retirement where she remains still today.
