Guys, this old and beautiful aircraft is Soviet. Antonov 28. But those times air factories were spread all over the soviet union and even in uzbekistan. Its was no matter where the plant was consyructed. Everybody worked together. But if it is so important for you i want to disappoint you, Antonov was russian and was born in Moscow..

Used to go to the Cold War Jets day at Bruntingthorpe, was awesome seeing them fast taxi. Glad to see that it's not all gone after what happened. I really can't find much information about it though, anyone know if there are plans for them to expand and do more?

Never to run again thanks to those arrogant sacks of shit at the caa. All they had to do was allow just one simple ferry flight to a new home. But no. They decided to be arsewipes and chose that it should be dismantled for removal instead. Not that suprised though. Because it's british heritage it just doesn't really matter does it.

Same Platform from the 1970 era. There is a reason an F-15 E can out dodge out range and not one has been lost in actual combat 1 Vs.1

Stationed a R.A.F. Upper Heyford in the 70's. We flew the F111E's and Lakenheath flew the F models. Nothing like the smell of JP4 in the air. All those mornings and nights sitting in the quick check truck at the end of the runway.
