- Vulcan XL426 performing two high power taxi runs in the twilight backdrop. Commemorating the 40th anniversary of Operation BlackBuck, this Avro Vulcan sets its power to the max leaving an iconic Vulcan Howl. This particular Vulcan is based at London Southend Airport and maintained by the Vulcan Restoration Trust, who have done an incredible job keeping XL426 to its taxiing standards.
A massive thanks to the Holiday Inn staff and management team for making this possible, this video was filmed from the Holiday Inn balcony. This view gave an incredible side-on shot of the Vulcan as it powered down the runway. The top floor of the Holiday Inn holds the 1935 Rooftop Restaurant. This restaurant sells incredible food & drinks while having an awesome view of the Airport below.

do you have any ideas on what planes are going to appear? for im trying to plane spot but its difficult to know when to go to the airport

Sadly not, the chances are very low but it’s still great to see the aircraft fast taxi.
